Pros: Excellent images, Very sharp, incredible solid build, Very low distortion for 17mm and very little reflections even when point into the Sun, works on DX and FX, PRICE!!

Cons: 440g heavy for areal photography.

Never tried Sigma 15mm, if it can do the same as Tokina in Quality distortion and flare resistance, then 50% price increase can be justified due to weight reduction. If weight is not issue to you, GET TOKINA 17MM!!! This lens to me is the best balance between quality and cost, would love to know if there is any other primes out there that have the same degree distortion ( not Fish eye!) and land in range of 15mm to 18mm. Has to be Nikon fit for me as the rest of my gear are Nikons.
