Opinion: Given that I am an amateur photographer. Replaced the Sony 24-105 with the Tamron 25-200mm f/2.8-5.6 III VXD G2. Impressions, mounted on Sony a7C, mainly for travel, lighter than the Sony and with a great advantage over the longer focal length. Sharpness already at full aperture in all focal lengths. I have no evidence of chromatic aberrations or distortions, even in backlight no flare. For the moment more than satisfied.
