I used it today to take some pictures of waterfowl living in a volcanic lake that is in my neighborhood. I used it without a handle and for the focus I found the circular knob very comfortable under the lens that, in my opinion, once accustomed, is much faster than the classic manual ring. I used the apertures 5.6 and 8 and set the camera to 200 ASAs. The results seemed excellent with good sharpness and excellent color saturation (thanks also to the excellent 5D sensor).
