Opinion: I recently bought an old Canon 5D (after years of Nikon) to have, at a reasonable price, the full size. Three Sundays ago, then, I found at a market, for a few tens of Euros, this goal that I already knew (I enjoy taking pictures from 73), complete with handle, hood, filters and metal case. I used it today to take some pictures of waterfowl living in a volcanic lake that is in my neighborhood. I used it without a handle and for the focus I found the circular knob very comfortable under the lens that, in my opinion, once accustomed, is much faster than the classic manual ring. I used the apertures 5.6 and 8 and set the camera to 200 ASAs. The results seemed excellent with good sharpness and excellent color saturation (thanks also to the excellent 5D sensor). The only negative notes are the weight a little 'high and the rack of the mesa in focus, controlled by the relative knob, which is made of plastic material (nylon) and that"shells" rather easily; should be used with caution and must avoid the "end of stroke" forzati.rn
