Pros: Resolution Images (23 Mpx), Automatic Focusing, Manual Controls, Super-Vivid Mode
Cons: Reactivity Sony Application, Speed ??and Automatism of Shutter, High ISO Resistance (Maximum ISO 400), Camera Selphie, Minimum Focusing Distance, Camera Too Wide Angle (24 mm Equiv.)
Opinion: Now it's almost a year that I shoot with Sony Xperia XA1 and a clear idea I made it. What about: maybe it is the camera present in a smartphone that, at the same time, has an infinity of merits, as well as an equal number of defects in its price range.rnWe say that the device is launched with a list price of about 300 € , but quickly falls to € 250 -220 € (effective price range) settling around this price for almost a year and then, now (March 2018) is stable around € 190.rnParto immediately to say that you can not talk of the Sony all-round camera, but you have to do a specific analysis by sector: rnrn ...... Use Point & Shoot [automatic] ...... rnThe application is very slow to open, if you will in mind, therefore, to take a thing on the fly I strongly suggest you to install a third-party room or change your phone. Compared to even the most basic range (Huawei, Honor and company singers) this Sony, so; like others, it is a real turtle. The reason? Perhaps the resourceful application of resources or the many megapixels make the processor (even if fast and reactive with all the high) is very slow to open the application.rnAs admitted and not granted, therefore, to have the application already open and to have by-passed this long opening process (at least 2 seconds) how does it behave to shoot on the fly? Bad, still bad, unfortunately. It's like there's really a big lag between when you press the shutter and when you actually take the picture. In a sense it is as if there was always a 1 second timer set, depending on which is used by the processor to: receive the signal, focus, analyze the conditions of the scene, set the shooting settings, shoot and second beat save the file.rnThe problems do not end here: to this slowness is also added a big loss of quality. It is as if all this frenzy really hurt this Sony and prevented the sensor from collecting all innecessary formations that would hypothetically be able to take. Most of the time the photos are moved (I wonder why in automatic it always shoots with improbable times if you are not full sun, like 1/33, 1/11 and so on ...) or out of focus.rnrnIn a few words: a mobile phone very slow and totally unsuitable for this type of photography. rnrn ...... I use Selphie ...... rnNulla to say because the selphie I do not use them, but it seems to me that the photographic quality is not much; moreover, the camera is too wide-angle and deforms the visi.rnrn ...... Night Use ...... rnPessimo here too. Unfortunately it stops at ISO 400 for appreciable results.rnrn ...... Use Instagram & Social + Tripod ...... rnIn this specific segment of use is undoubtedly the best mobile around the € 200 currently on the market and to check it all you need to see the numerous tests of GSMArena or Phone Arena and compare the "stills" to those of mobile phones of the same band or upper band.rnThere is little to do: with mcalm and without hurrying (manual focus made with 5x zoom, selection of ISO 50, shutter timer 3 seconds, precise white balance, underexposure of -0.3 and so on ...) produces excellent shots that would envy a top of the range a couple of years ago. In all these cases we really feel the advantages of a bigger sensor, a greater concentration of megapixels and Zeiss lenses that, in a certain sense, compensate for the blunders deriving from the poorly developed application and the processor is not always "very intelligent". rnSe, then, we also combine the use of a tripod you can take out decent photos even at night.rnrn ...... CONCLUSION ...... rnE 'the phone suitable for those who want to take pictures for social media (usually requiring more time and expertise) or simply "conceptual photography from smartphones", but it does not go very well as a "disposable" everyday room.rnPersonally I would not buy the phone again (the slowness of the room feels and weighs in a smartphone that should be fast), rather I would focus on its evolution: XZs, XZ1 or just go to other top-end terminals like One Plus 5T.rnA short will also post some other photography.rnrn |
