Pros: Never used, so I don't express myself

Cons: One-inch sensor, otherwise I don't express myself

Opinion: I had RX100M3 and RX0II, which mount the same processor and didn't feel good. A lot of stuff on paper, but at the time of the facts always a one-inch sensor is with all the limitations it entails. For the same price I would go on a compact aps-c or look for an RX1 that is FF on the used. But I repeat... I've never used it, so my opinion is to be taken with pliers.

Pros: Portability, extraordinary focus, good optical quality and impressive burst already at 12 FpM

Cons: Nothing special about category

Opinion: Bought just out. The use for photo hunting and travel (Pre COVID), has replaced a Sony kit (Alpha 68 + Sigma 17-70 + Sigma 105 macro + Sigma 120-400) to make up for the weight problems related to my age and health. I'm excited about the focus, I've never tried a Sony A9 but I think when they say that the RX10 uses the usual algorithms it matches the truth. I refer to a page of my site for the images I made at the "Parco della Piana", a LIPU area near Florence. The shooting point was less than four meters from the subjects. In continuous autofocus, wide area, with active animal eye detection these activated perfectly in most cases. (http://www.vitocardillo.it/slide-fauna-8) The images are not perfectly optimizing for the WEB this invalidates the dynamic and tonal range and consequently the general yield. The majority were executed at 500/600 mm with times between 1/1000 and 2/1000 F4-8. Of course my judgment refers to the category of the product that, cannot and should not be compared with larger sensors (APS-C, etc.)

Pros: For now I say everything

Cons: for now I say nothing

Opinion: I took it recently, in the photographic side it is giving me a lot of satisfaction, of course, in my opinion comparisons should never be made with upper bands, I have the canon eos r and slow L series, other music but... believe me, it goes above all expectations, at least for as a photographer I, I have to do a lot of tests and then I will add more information . What they wrote before me is all right, then as mentioned you have to know how to settle, thank you for now . I do not make videos and therefore I will not help you in this field ..... I would like to thank the RCE of La Spezia for allowing me to make and buy both new and used with great professionalism in the person of Simone, prepared and kind... it was a duty.

Pros: It is an "all in one" machine in a small bag you can take from 24mm to 600mm and the lenses are from the Zeiss family.

Cons: If you have the amount of an ultra-zoom you can not claim the quality of the fixed lenses as well, although compared to other ultra-zooms we are always one step ahead.

Opinion: You can't have quality and quantity together, so you have to compromise but if you can please this compact Sony it can give great satisfaction. It has a small sensor (about 1/9 of the surface of a FF) but if you use it with the right light it is capable of producing excellent images. In a nutshell, the iso should not be raised and the exposure should not be recovered as with aps-c or fullframe. Do not use it to photograph the moon, at least I did it with bad results, while at 600mm in full sun the quality is still more than discreet. Perfect for a safari in Africa, as for a trip to the mountains or to steal a few shots in the city at a safe distance. Not suitable for nocturnal, indoor or all those situations where light is scarce.

Pros: Everything: optical quality above all, ergonomics, Af, tiltable display, perfect images, both Raw and jpg-

Cons: Nothing.

Opinion: I already have an Olympus m4/3 mirrorless kit with Pro optics, Em1, Pen F. I was looking for a good Bridge to take to the mountains to avoid the weight of the backpack, although with my kit it is not excessive, but, the age advances :-) so I saw a used by Sabatini photos in Rome, I sacrificed by give it back an old Omd Em5 plus a mzuiko 14-150 and at just under 1000 euros (new would cost 1800) I won an Rx10-4 practically as new. I purchased on Amazon an external charger plus a couple of compatible batteries also because the supplied battery was defective, perhaps for this reason they had given it back. The first thing that amazed me is the extraordinary quality of the images from 24 to 600mm equivalent, even at full aperture (from 2.8 to 4) that do not make me regret the already high quality of zuiko m4/3 optics, if not for the obviously superior bokeh. the focal, setting 4/3 ranges from about 25 to 650mm, while with the native format of 3/2 you have 24-600mm which I preferred despite being accustomed for years to the 4/3 format if only for a greater angle angle. Optical stabilization works very well at the maximum focal point, it works at the time of shooting, so you do not notice, as in Olympus OMD bodies, the effect of stabilizing in the viewfinder or display by holding the shutter button semi-pressed. The 600mm image dances a lot but stabilization intervenes at the time of shooting and is quite effective. The menu is quite extensive and includes many options, some of which are not very clear as the instruction manual, available in PDF even on the web, is quite laconic. The battery life allows about 300 shots, less than a REFLEX, but more or less the same as a mirrorless so being used to those of olympus I do not consider it a problem. Consume less using the display and more using the viewfinder. Very useful customizable buttons on the machine body on which to preset the functions that are most often used without resorting to the menu. To my surprise the raw of the Rx10-4 are read and recognized by the old Lightroom stand alone 6.14
