Pros: Ergonomics, possibility of customization, viewfinder

Cons: Non-lightning-fast focus, high iso (of course)

Opinion: Sent to me by RCe for a review in the end I decided to buy it and keep it. Really incredible how much technology is enclosed in this "bar of soap". It is really small, a concentrate of 298 grams that you can customize as you see fit. Given its size you risk pressing the wrong button but it is a machine that you buy also knowing the compromises you have to make. The images that this little girl churns out are very respectable. You have at your disposal a zeiss sonnar T equivalent to a 24/70, 1.8/2.8. You therefore have a respectable lens and above all so bright as to allow you not to climb too much with the iso that obviously, given the one-inch sensor, over 800 begin to produce noise which, however, in my opinion, up to 1600 is absolutely manageable. In my gallery you can find some shots baked with the rx100iv. The raw file is workable and allows a discreet recovery of shadows and highlights. Tilting screen, no touch, and a small retractable electronic viewfinder. Small viewfinder yes, but with great performance, very useful in many cases of hard light that does not allow you to see the screen well. I feel good, it is a machine that you always carry with you, it goes into the pocket of jeans and you have at hand a tool that most of the time is very expendable in many situations. The biggest flaw in my opinion is the speed of the MAF but I solved for the most part either by setting single point with flexible spot or, in other cases, in two dedicated and personalized menus, the hyper focal from 2 and 5 meters up to infinity. I repeat: there are compromises that you must and can make, but in the end you will have fun all the same. For those who want a full review, you can find it on my youTube channel of ale_chiolo_photography. For any info, if you need, do not hesitate to write to me in private.

Pros: Compact, quality beyond expectations. Excellent in RAW.

Cons: Battery life, "Scenes" not very useful, almost useless for videos. Fragile appearance. Exaggerated price

Opinion: Excellent alternative to the heavy and bulky REFLEX, it releases an unexpected quality from such a small thing. As long as you use RAW files, whose development gives far better results than JPEGs, however decent. The V is the best of all, including the rear ones, for brightness and AF functionality

Pros: beautiful especially to the touch - definition - practical and instantaneous

Cons: the viewfinder is defined but too small.

Opinion: sceptical always... I had tried the second series years ago and it hadn't hit me. I bought this, second-hand, here on juza, practically new and was stunned. it's great.. it touches well, hides well, churns out beautiful, crisp and crunchy instant photos... . the menu, owning sony A7R II, I like it and I'm used to it.. the only flaw is the viewfinder... which as defined is perhaps excessively small... but you still need to have it... solid and made of valuable material... I promote it with flying colours... my judgment stems from having owned lumix LX100 that disappointed me very much, Ricoh GR II fantastic but limited in optics and the whole fuji x100 series beautiful but not portable. It was a revelation for me.... I'm going to keep it.

Pros: Ultra portability, electronics, video, optical, build quality, operational completeness for the creative aspect

Cons: Lack of tropicalization, price.

Opinion: Taken second-hand almost a year ago (new unapproachable) chosen for a trip to Berlin, (I did not want to bring the sherpa with nikon kit) for sporadic outings in lightness and for the ephaly ephemianed video quality. I admit with a little doubt, I did not think it was so high-performance, a lamp of Aladdin, incredible the ability to contain so much quality and technology in a box little bigger than a pack of cigarettes. Starting from the optical aspect, first of all Zeiss, electronic lens 24-70 opening 1.8 - 2.8, stabilized there is little to say, a bijou, cool the ability to choose or zoom or open the diaphragm with the front die, as in the manual goals. A really excellent thumb sensor, creates files with a very good dynamic range, detailed raw images, I found the white balance very good, better even than my d800. The Video Department is really its strong, 4k 30fps in 25p, it creates really amazing cinema images. Spectacular superslomotion at 250/500/1000fps, gives you the chance to create incredible videos. Built-in flash, useful, but nothing exceptional, show instead the retractable electronic viewfinder, the 190-degree tipper screen for excellent histhists. In short, a wonder, certainly born for a use of vlogger, for those who demand discreet photographic quality in an action camera body this is the right machine. I don't remember who said it but it's a good maxim: the best camera is the one you always carry with you. This is undoubtedly an exceptional machine, certainly with the subsequent models will have introduced sensitive improvements but I think the M4 is still the most successful to date also by virtue of the price of the used. Highly recommended!

Pros: Compact, fast, a nice concentration of opportunities

Cons: If you know what you buy, nothing

Opinion: I arrived at this compact in my search path for a car that was in my pocket and I could always carry with me. I wanted to try the X100 series, making me (guilty) attract from the apsc, aesthetics, jpeg Fuji. Then I realized (guilty after) that it is heavy, bulky, definitely not in the pocket, except in a jacket. And I wanted to try the RX100 series, famous for being a "saponetta". Well, the machine is actually small and smooth, but does not claim to be wielded as a sLR. After a few days, it's comfortable. It's a concentration of technology and crazy mechanical solutions (it has a not bad scope and a flash!), while maintaining good easy access to the main functions. The lens is very good and bright, allowing you not to climb too easily with ISOs. In poorly lit and high iso environments the quality suffers a lot, but on the other hand we speak of 1 inch. Stabilization is effective and the machine is very responsive both as an ignition and as a focus. The battery lasts a little longer (not much less than the Fuji), but it is tiny and it is easy to bring a few more. With a mini easel and a pair of magnetic filters (ND and polarizer) I can carry in my pocket a system not bad on occasions where Mirrorless would not find space (eg: business trips, conferences). And the low iso quality is great, crazy if you think you put it in (almost) any pocket.
