Surely I see it very useful for those who make portraits and weddings where you take full advantage of being able to go to f2.8 in the portrait and in the need to let in as much light as possible as you shoot freehand. In the landscape I see it less useful because when you do landscape is perhaps better a 100-400 GM with the possibility of going over 200mm. I prefer to have an aperture of f5.6 and go to 400mm (so you always use the tripod) than go to 200mm to f2.8. The focus of the 70-200 II is very fast and does not miss a shot. To date, the focus has never been wrong, which instead on the 100-400 as it is natural that it is is more difficult.
