Pros: Colors, pop 3d, yield, microcontrasto, construction

Cons: I don't know

Opinion: Bought used here on the market at a bargain price, after having made sure that it did not suffer from the problem known to everyone on some specimens produced (on the web you can find everything, explained much better than I could explain it). The yield is great, the colors very beautiful and on autofocus I have nothing to say. It weighs a little (but I knew it), suffers aberrations (but I knew it). I recommend it to all those who do portraiture.

Pros: Zeiss Colors, FAST and precise AF, diaphragmmi declick diaphragmmi, crisp, pop 3d a ta

Cons: Maybe a little heavy, light chromatic aberrations in backlight but x what returns everything is over-fly

Opinion: For 1 and a half years or so in my hands is my travel companion, I never give up, neither for work nor for passion, it has a unique yield! On a9 it will make you fly, fast, precise, sharp, POETICO. It allows you to do state-of-the-art reporting, it allows you to be inside the scene and tell it and show it to the Observer as if it were there with you. It's a Zeiss lens you don't need to add anything else...

Pros: Light, well built, fuzzy soft, three-dimensionality, detachment of the subject

Cons: Chromatic aberrations almost always present, flare sometimes

Opinion: My favorite lens, an incredible optical quality, a blurry one and a deadlift of scary planes. Built well, all in all light, AF responsive and fast enough. You need to learn to live with the chromatic aberrations that are practically always present (just a touch to remove them). Maybe that's why the price is a little too high due to the competition. Rated 9

Pros: The Lord of Light: Sharp, luminous, three-dimensionality and very soft bokeh.

Cons: It is Not the weight of the problem, but the aberrations (chromatic and not) is the true defect of the Distagon

Opinion: I owned it for almost a year, and I have to be honest, it was my favorite lens after the 24-70GM. Exceptional Construction of metal, with the aperture ring that I like a lot, especially in video. On the construction of the lens, while not finding the gasket on the mount of the bayonet, defends well against the weather and dust, and surprise (not to do ABSOLUTELY!) with the sea water, but there is the sea to make us two bathrooms with my a7RII and the lens Zeiss. However it holds very well on tropicalization. Performance is great, in line with Sony lenses, Af performing (perfect for video and photos), excellent sharpness, but at f1.4 is very soft (almost ideal for half-bust portraits or close ups), the detail, from f2.8 onwards is outstanding, up to F11. Unfortunately the flaws are visible at sight, not so much distortion, but the vignetting is present in an almost intrusive (from F 2.8 improves) Chromatic aberration, is the true weak link of the Zeiss, to correct the disturbance also serves the help of programs Post Production (NB: Activating the objective compensation, the defect is less, but there) also the flare are visible, pleasing the star effect that produces at closed diaphragms. But the bokeh and the three-dimensionality, do an outstanding job. The bokeh is very soft, perfect for creating artistic closeups, and the micro contrast is typical of the Zeiss lenses... Conclusion? For video and photos this lens is perfect. It costs a bit, but you do great things...

Pros: Optics exceptional comparable to the Leica Summilux Fle, boken delicious, great 3D effect.

Cons: A boulder, big and heavy defeats most of the utility of mirrorless.

Opinion: I took this long-awaited lens in place of Summilux FLE use on A7r. I'm not absolutely regret the Leica lens as image quality, but the size is really important. This coupled with A7r weighs only 500 grams less than the Nikon D750 with Sigma 50mm Art. Auto focus in line with the other optics.
