The Sony 24-70 is built decidedly well and with a perfect seal worthy of a professional lens. The color rendering is excellent but with engraving compared to the slightly lower Sigma. An excellent fast lens in focus without uncertainties. It lends itself to intense and professional use as a bright all-rounder optics but to have excellent results you have to close to f4. Blurred in non-jumping portraits considering the price quite high compared to Sigma. Used in the studio it is perfect with very real shades and colors. Working at f 5.6 - 8 I can say that it is great and brings home a great final result. Solid and beautiful to handle as well as the whole GM series. The price is perhaps too high but like all GM optics unfortunately the cost is high.
