The fact that it is lack of light I do not consider it a flaw because it is a kit lens at the end of the day. after the first tests I was left with bitterness in the mouth, very little sharpness (in comparison the canon 55-250 stm looks like an L series) and chromatic aberrations that make it difficult to photograph small subjects in the backlight. After a few days of use you learn to use and appreciate it because it is not a lens to throw away. it's convenient to use, and as long as you don't exaggerate with the crop it has a decent yield. in conclusion if you find it under 200 euros is a must-have because in combination with 16-50 you are covered at all the focal points with very little expense and a lot of compactness. otherwise if you have a bigger budget bet on 18-135 mm or 70-200 f4 if you are ambitious EDIT: now the 70-350 that represents a quality alternative if you have a higher budget
