Pros: Stabilization, weight, cost

Cons: maybe a bit dark but for the cost there is no need to go for the thin

Opinion: Bundled with the 16-50 along with the A6000 for a total cost that I would call negligible. I use it little preferring the versatility of the 18-135 but all in all it is a good lens to practice with medium-long focal lengths and to bring home interesting shots. It goes without saying that the 70-350 is on another planet but the 55-210 has been designed for much less performing sensors, however in the right conditions it says its own. Ideal to start also given the ease with which it is used, in any case in the gallery of this lens I saw some valuable photos of birds to further demonstrate that the "handle" counts more than the equipment

Pros: Stabilization, bulk, weight, cost

Cons: I would say brightness, but given the price you can not ask for more

Opinion: I consider it a fairly sharp and practical lens. The brightness is not his forte but on days with good light he also takes home some nice photos. Everything must be put in relation to the price, in my opinion for the price it has is not bad. If you want more in this range of focal lengths you have to put your hand to the wallet unless you use a-mount lenses with its adapter (and even so you risk spending more).

Pros: Lightweight, compact, stabilized, good autofocus

Cons: dark, poor yield at 210mm

Opinion: He was part of my kit for a long time, paired with the 16-50 PZ and 50mm f1.8 Olympus that I fished from an old analog kit. To be an optical kit aimed at beginners is really good, stabilization manages to compensate well for its ridiculous brightness. And brightness is its weak point. An f6.3 I can accept from 300mm up, but not on 210 mostly for APS-C. They could have done it slightly bigger and earned at least one f5.6 to make it really perfect for novice amateurs

Pros: Lightness, compactness, speed and silence AF, stabilization, optical yield (from f. 8 onwards), solidity, price

Cons: Dark (but on the ML does not notice it almost), optics not excellent under f. 8 to all focal (poor to T.A.!),

Opinion: Taken used for 110 euros to complete the endowment of my Sony a5000, I was immediately surprised by the speed and quietness of the focus. The stabilization also surprised me by giving me still shots at the maximum focal (about 315 mm. in equivalent shoals on F.F.) with shooting times up to 1/60 freehand. Disappointing at T.A., it becomes unobtrusive at f. 8 and good over f. 8 up to f. 16-f. 18; then it expires a little bit because of the diffraction. The brightness of the environment also has a bit of an impact on the yield of the lens: in good light conditions, excellent shots come out, in low light or in the absence of contrast (grey or foggy sky) do not always come out decent shots, not even mounted on tripod. I also used it in combination with extension tubes, for close-up, but here the result was almost always disappointing because the goal, in itself, does not express that microcontrast that only the real macro goals offer. For trips and excursions, when you need to go light, however, it gives nice satisfactions and therefore I recommend it as long as you do not pay it more than 140/150 euros.

Pros: building materials; fast and silent focus; light; compact; Stabilization

Cons: lack of sharpness; price without discounts; you have to understand it to make good shots

Opinion: I took this lens during Black Friday on amazon taking advantage of the cashback sony, as a result I paid 150 euros. as soon as mounted I was amazed by the silence of the focus (so much so that my father asked me if he was an ultrasonic). The fact that it is lack of light I do not consider it a flaw because it is a kit lens at the end of the day. after the first tests I was left with bitterness in the mouth, very little sharpness (in comparison the canon 55-250 stm looks like an L series) and chromatic aberrations that make it difficult to photograph small subjects in the backlight. After a few days of use you learn to use and appreciate it because it is not a lens to throw away. it's convenient to use, and as long as you don't exaggerate with the crop it has a decent yield. in conclusion if you find it under 200 euros is a must-have because in combination with 16-50 you are covered at all the focal points with very little expense and a lot of compactness. otherwise if you have a bigger budget bet on 18-135 mm or 70-200 f4 if you are ambitious EDIT: now the 70-350 that represents a quality alternative if you have a higher budget
