In comparison to the Samayang 12mm f/2, I find the Sony sharper and more comfortable to use, also - even if it seems little - I find those extra degrees of angle of view useful. To these pros is added tropicalization. As for the cons, I have not found any. Personally I would have preferred a 10mm but you can't have everything. It is obviously a lens that, being fixed, is generically less versatile than a zoom but that's fine with me.
