Pros: Almost everything

Cons: Screen joint

Opinion: I confirm what was written in the previous reviews. It's an almost perfect machine. I work both as a photographer and as a filmmaker and, for photography, I do not feel the limit of 12 megapixels as long as the composition during shooting is practically definitive. 24 and megapixels allow you to crop important, here you forget them, so when shooting it takes more care. The door is objectively poorly designed, that joint in the long run becomes fragile and serves no purpose. In fact, if you use it as a video camera, the insertion of cables limits the tilt, as a camera it is inconvenient. In short, if they had left the door of the a7iii it would be the perfect camera

Pros: ALL THE VIDEO SIDE

Cons: IF IT WERE 24 MP THEY WOULDN'T SELL ANYTHING ELSE ANY MORE

Opinion: I state that I work on it. I mean that I pay us the expenses monthly. I work 90% for companies, reportage/corporate style, 35% video and 65% photo. The video requests, despite quantitatively lower, require specific technical aspects, such as 4k 50p. Purpose 99% digital/web/social and maybe 1% print. On the video nothing to say, it's all that in the year 1999/2000 when I started I was looking for and I could not find in any camera / camcorder. Here you think you need something... there is. Photo side: I report on events quietly, and although weddings are not my bread, I have also printed some 30x30 albums flush without absolutely disfiguring, indeed. The work done on color science is crazy. The ergonomics are great. Obviously being mirrorless it will never have the grip of a Canon 1d, but what a speech: it weighs a fraction!!! The articulated screen is crucial if you do a lot of different jobs. In video works I use it 7 times out of 10 (the other external monitors), and I find it excellent, both in terms of resolution and ergonomics and use. Many times I need to take advantage of every cm of available space, for example in interior architecture photos, and often I find myself with the camera against the wall or similar, screen facing the subject and self-timer; which is impossible with the articulated screen type A7III or A1. The AF is incomparable, the best ever used. Same thing for the high Iso seal, fantastic in photos, excellent in video, whatever picture profile you use. In Slog it's really revolutionary. For now the best room ever used. Logical: if the lens was to have to crop ALWAYS to 200% or print 2 meters x2 at 300 dpi, it would not be the right camera. For everything else in my opinion... really hard to say that it is not good. Ah, just to clarify: never been a Fan of Sony before this camera!!!

Pros: video quality (of course), af, colors, iso seal, dynamic range

Cons: no one in particular

Opinion: Excellent machine, obviously dedicated to the video world for which, relative to my needs, it is perfect. Side photo is usable, with the only limit of 12mpx, which many times are more than enough. The af is perfect, it rarely misses a shot, the iso seal is the best I've ever tried, the colors are a step up from the a73 and a7r3 I already owned.

Pros: DYNAMIC RANGE, feedback, Af, sensitivity, customization

Cons: sd/cfa door

Opinion: Machine Voted absolutely to the video but not to be excluded for photos. Surely you do not choose it if you are only photographers, but I believe that in the photographic field the real plus is that this machine, except for mpx, is infinite. It allows you to make mistakes and still take home the result. Then it must be said that all the mental physios on the mpx we only make them we photographers: a beautiful photo is composed well and is pleasant even with 6 mpx (except for those who need to print big). However these 12 mpx are at least 24 from the results but with the plus of an infinite dynamic range. The AF coming from Mom Canon is great but different, Canon is softer and more pleasant, if you work in excellent light conditions, but as soon as the light is scarce it gives up first. On this a7s3, however, he never gives up but is very nervous. On the other hand, I applaud the quietness of Sony's AF engines: very quiet. Of course you need to know what you buy but it is a camera that allows you to enjoy the photographic experience by always taking home, and I always say, the result; maybe not printable in A2 but what other machine allows you to take the milky way freehand? Or even to shoot it in a video? Do we really need 50 mpx in normal use and not still life? I don't think so (although of course they appeal to all of me included). Color science is much better than older models, not yet like Canon for complexion, but otherwise excellent. Negative note: that honestly makes my nose twist is the counter of the sd/cfa: very waterproofed but poorly built, it remains semi-open since the waterproofing rubber pushes it out. Excellent viewfinder and screen although I would have liked a larger screen and not with this type of junction: more like the A1; no one sane self-resumes with an a7s3.
