Pros: All

Cons: Honestly nothing

Opinion: Without this ring I believe that most of the current Sonari would not have been. I also believe that Sony owes a lot to Sigma, and much of the success is due to the possibilities that this adapter guarantees. In money makes any lens for Canon, usable perfectly on Sony. It's worth noting that native L lenses work beautifully, as opposed to the Sigmas they sometimes hold (probably the company wants you to buy their lenses with native attachment). On the series III bodies is deadly, most of the time it is the lenses themselves that "castrano" the speed of the system itself: for example an 85 1.2 or a 135 2.0 will work exactly as if they were mounted on a pro Canon body, but on the contrary they will have an accuracy and the AF eye (works with any lens without problems ). Canon professional lenses such as 70-200 II-III and the like work beautifully. On a9 I saw no difference between her and a 1dxII (summary tests ). The only lenses that hold out are the third-party super-tele. For example, the 150-600 scan thos can be used with static subjects, which are completely unusable in the case of in-flight and related sparrows. It does not cause any exaggerated drain of the battery, and does not degrade the quality at the edges of the pushed widecorners (as the metabones does ). The price is perfect considering it can allow you to postpone the purchase of native lenses. The only "problem" is that ergonomics is often bad, as reflex lenses are balanced for a different draft. Great for saving sacred portrait monsters such as 85 1.2, 135 f2, 50 1.2 and related. For goodness sake it also works well with the 70-200 and the 24-70 of the latest generation, but at this point it is better to buy native zooms.

Pros: Functional, well done, robust and at a more than reasonable price.

Cons: For value for money, none.

Opinion: Taken a week ago to accompany him to my A7rii on Canon optics, he does his job well and qualitatively nothing is lost. It keeps all automations in a valuable way and works with all (or almost) EF optics. Every now and then he struggles to catch fire, but stuff of a few milliseconds. It's the best of itself with Sigma attack Canon optics of course. I recommend buying it.

Pros: Light and upgradeable via usb, not excessive cost compared to metabones

Cons: For now nothing but the fact that with some optics slows down the autofocus, but it is still an adapter

Opinion: Purchased immediately together with the sony A7 III, an indispensable accessory for those like me still using the Reflex Canon system in combination with the Sony system. The LED on mine has never been lit with Sigma optics with Canon optics, it is updated to the latest firmware. For now I have used it without problems with the Canon 24-105 IS F4 L, with the Canon 50 F1.2 L, with the Sigma 12-24 F 4.5-5.6 II DG HSM, while with the Canon 100 macro IS F2.8 L works but the autofocus is slow and sometimes loses focus , I also tested it with the Sigma 50mm f/1.4 EX DG HSM but it does not work, but I think the problem is due to the optics a bit dated. My rating is only for photographs, for Sony FE optical video usage.

Pros: Works great with Canon 24 f 2.8, with the Canon 35 f 1.4 L, with the Canon 70-200 f 4, with the canon 85 f 1.8

Cons: doesn't work with the Canon 300 mm f 4

Opinion: I bought it recently used with all the Ef optics in my possession. I use it with the sony A7r III the LED does not turn on I think that LED is working for Sigma optics with canon attack. The only lens that from problems is the 300 F4 stabilized with this optics does strange things that make it unusable in autofocus. with the other optics also works the subject's hooking system I had tried others that did not work with all my goals. With this sacrifice the 300 mm that in any case it is not that it is then comfortable to use the long telephoto lenses on mirrorless systems if I have to make shots with the pushed canvases I will continue to use the Canon 1ds Mark III. In the end I bought it to use with the sony the compact and lightweight lenses 24 2.8, 35 f 1.4 and 85 f 1.8 vouchers to take on the road with the Sony A7r III there is everything in a light handbag. all three weigh less than a single sigma Art lens in my opinion for those who make sports photography or action the Reflex remains the car to prefer to mirrorless, but to carry on the road or around a sony A7r allows you to have high quality images with little weight. If one has to carry heavy optics then so much worth you bring the reflex

Pros: Lightweight, updatable and works with all Canon optics

Cons: If you use non-L optics works the AF works slowly, on three land series optics with none turned on the green LED, video footage with 70-200 f2.8 USM II impossible

Opinion: Driven by positive reviews, I bought this product to use my optics on an a7 iii, my optics used are 18-55 (the initial standard one), 85 f1.8, 24-70 f4 USM L, 70-200 f2.8 USM II L, 14 f2.8 USM L. On all L optics the photographic operation is excellent, a slower hair perhaps and much slower on non-L optics, but widely acceptable however in low light situations the AF is much slower and sometimes struggles to focus, the videos are completely unusable with the 70-200 the AF almost never focuses. With all the optics the LED has never lit green which means that theoretically the lenses should not be compatible but still work, Eye AF does not work on any optics and in MF the a7 does not automatically enlarge the detail, function which is automatically activated with the original optics when using in MF. In conclusion, based on my experience, I do not recommend this product if you want to keep all the features of the Sony targets, if instead you are only interested in photographing in non-complex situations then this product works well. Unfortunately I had to resell it as it did not meet my needs.

Pros: It works great for both A9 and A7MR3

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: I bought this accessory to be able to use on my two Sony the Canon 400 F2,8, I am fully satisfied because it maintains all the variables of automatism and focusing of the machine. No loss of functionality or decelerations of AF, I used it to photograph the Kingfisher, not in the static phase, and it is perfect.

Pros: It works fine (in my case with Canon L-series Optics and EF-on Sony Alpha 7).

Cons: I do not see (maybe the price, but if you have the patience to search the net, you can find it also new at an acceptable price: I paid €150. New with official guarantee Italy).

Opinion: It is an accessory with the right value for money that allows you to use other brand targets on cameras of different brands without (or almost without, depends on lens and body machine) loss of functionality or quality. I am using it with great satisfaction on Sony Alpha 7, on which I can mount the Canon lenses. The functionality and quality of the canon lenses has remained unchanged, as if they were used on canon cameras. I also add that the added thickness of the adaptor on the machine body, reduces the possibility of annoying dust deposits on the sensor, when you change the lenses, compared to the original Sony lenses that-at the time of the gearbox-expose more The sensor directly to the external environment.

Pros: It does exactly what it should do, good construction and upgradeable firmware directly with USB port

Cons: The targets mounted lose a bit 'of AF speed, but also remain usable for video

Opinion: I took it for my Sony a6300, and mount 18-35 50-100 F1.8 and F1.8 Sigma and the Canon 35 IS f2. They become a bit 'slower in AF but still acceptable, to discourage sports photos. I use it mainly for making videos with the lenses listed above and does his duty even with continuous fire, and the Canon retains stabilization. The construction is solid and firmly engages both the machine on the objectives. It has a USB port that allows the firmware update.
