Opinion: From Leica to Sigma it's quite a leap!! (Bottom though) The 200 is a nice lens if you want to look for those portraits as I do to dogs which are often uncooperative subjects if photographed up close. Maximum sharpness from 2.8 is what limits me in use having Leica optics that are sharp from the housing!! The blur is pleasant and the yield for sharpness is, for me, a bit exaggerated so as to make files that seem retouched in post with dxo or other. To be clear, I prefer the sharpness of the 90/280 which is always very "sweet" while that of modern optics tends to be aggressive. Obviously, it is a bright optic therefore extremely interesting in low light conditions and the small size makes it interesting in nature photography. With the SL3 set in apsc mod you have a 300 f2 or better 2.8!! As I have already said other times if the files are posted on the web everything is fine but if you print ... The difference can be seen. Comfortable to hold and does not require a tripod due to the weight and the ring with the tripod attachment is convenient to use as a carrying handle. As always there are various buttons that in my opinion limit its hold in particular climatic conditions and in this Leica teaches!!
