Pros: Perfect for all, macro, portraits and astrophoto, internal focusing, high quality construction
Cons: Manual focus in portraits can create some problems
Opinion: I took this lens three months ago and I've tested in many situations, I find it amazing and i wouldnt undoubtedly, the price is a bit 'apparently high, but for me it's worth it all .. The construction is excellent, making fire moves the internal lens and so there is no barrel extension .. also exhibits a marked change of focus depending on the focal distance, this thing is often considered negative, in this case I would say that it is also positive because with the approach of 1: 1 the focal length increases .. also I would make a note on the sharpness of the various apertures, in macro 1: 1 the best aperture is f16, f32, and I must say that the diffraction is not excessive as to compromise a photo, while the normal distance from portrait with this focal length (3-4 meters) the highest sharpness you have to f4-f5.6, moving away again, then using it to astrophoto, sharpness looks too lofty to the widest apertures .. so the sharpness is increased with diaphragmIt useful for the kind of photography that is taking place .. In the macro is really beautiful, sharp pictures with minimal aberrations .. Even as a portrait lens is very good, not very low pdc and good dividend plans with creamy bokeh allow you to have a subject completely in focus in the foreground, with a good detachment behind, the pdc not too easily reduced even manual focus, which is often mistaken for large openings, the nose instead of the eyes very easy to focus .. also cartoon slightly TA The use of Sony a7 II, I do not miss the stabilizer is therefore better not put (in my case), less weight, I do not find even unbalanced because too heavy, I would say that it is perfect The ring is perhaps a bit 'too braking, however, by great sense of precision |
