Pros: Optical quality, construction, intenal focus, 1: 1

Cons: Absence of AF and stabilizer considering the cost and what the other brands offer (just wanting to find "counter")

Opinion: I am one of those who is fully satisfied with the performance of this lens that offers a good quality and robustness. I think the words are of little use and talking will be the pictures but if I have to find fault with them (that they are not, in my This is because more or less at the same price (at least at this time) there are valid alternatives that do not need to be named.rnAll the The rest is "poetry", both in the macro and in the middle of the canvas, provided that you have the patience and the ability to know how to use it as it should.

Pros: NITIDO, neutral color yield, Internal focusing, very well balanced (on my old 5D) easy to shoot up to 1/30 freehand, good anti-reflection treatment, price

Cons: pretty bulky

Opinion: I have had this optics for a couple of weeks now and I have not been able to try it except in the home or almost, but I got a pretty precise idea of how it works, I needed a macro optics longer than my excellent Zeiss (for contax) 60 macro , I wanted it to reach the 1:1 magnification ratio and not being a fan of autofocus "at all costs" my choice fell on this glass. I paid 380 euros on Ebay transport included, I own a large set of Zeiss optics for Contax, I know what it means sharpness, contrast and the feeling of cleanliness that return each in their own way and with a character full of nuances, but I must say that this 100 macros surprised me, sharp and defined at the same time, well built, heavy, I found excellent internal focusing , with the 60 macro in ratios close to 1:2 the machine-optic system was strongly unbalanced, here it's all under control, it also amazed the good hold to the backlight without excessive loss of contrast and without flare slit and intrusive Ghosts. A 100 macro Zeiss F2 also used is not found at less than 1000/1300 Euros, with the difference I will buy a used 6D body. PS after hundreds of shots in the most disparate conditions, I must add that the mechanics of this optics is at the height of the expectations, never a hardening of the diaphragm dialing diaphragm..... the thing is really interesting, this optics gave me right away the impression of solidity and brilliance of yield that I had not tried in my approach to other houses (ephanate) and that's why I held tight my zeiss optics for Contax , but here I FINALLY found something that reminds me up close without having to make a lease for the purchase..... After the first hundred shots I decided to look for reviews and I found the laboratory test of the TF magazine, this optic is very close to the yield of the Zeiss 100 macro, certainly has a stop opening in less (but the Planar reaches "only" the ratio of magnification 1:2), but it costs a third and in the field for now provided me only and exclusively satisfactions and... Amazement. It certainly won't be the only Samyang optics in my slow park... PS after hundreds of shots in the most disparate coonditions the mechanics of this optics proved to live up to expectations, never a hardening of the diaphragm diaphragm diaphragm diaphragm diaphragm diaphragm or focus....

Pros: bright, crisp, robust, precise

Cons: heavy !! not stabilized, but cmq straconsigliato although quite expensive

Opinion: bought a few weeks ago ... I can not help but keep it mounted and try and try testing it every day .. well worth the money ... it is a great alternative to some super lens of the best known brands in short, very sharp lens, bright accurate well done and very rugged, I dare "massive", shade excellent, clean portraits and macro fantastic! not to be missed

Pros: Perfect for all, macro, portraits and astrophoto, internal focusing, high quality construction

Cons: Manual focus in portraits can create some problems

Opinion: I took this lens three months ago and I've tested in many situations, I find it amazing and i wouldnt undoubtedly, the price is a bit 'apparently high, but for me it's worth it all .. The construction is excellent, making fire moves the internal lens and so there is no barrel extension .. also exhibits a marked change of focus depending on the focal distance, this thing is often considered negative, in this case I would say that it is also positive because with the approach of 1: 1 the focal length increases .. also I would make a note on the sharpness of the various apertures, in macro 1: 1 the best aperture is f16, f32, and I must say that the diffraction is not excessive as to compromise a photo, while the normal distance from portrait with this focal length (3-4 meters) the highest sharpness you have to f4-f5.6, moving away again, then using it to astrophoto, sharpness looks too lofty to the widest apertures .. so the sharpness is increased with diaphragmIt useful for the kind of photography that is taking place .. In the macro is really beautiful, sharp pictures with minimal aberrations .. Even as a portrait lens is very good, not very low pdc and good dividend plans with creamy bokeh allow you to have a subject completely in focus in the foreground, with a good detachment behind, the pdc not too easily reduced even manual focus, which is often mistaken for large openings, the nose instead of the eyes very easy to focus .. also cartoon slightly TA The use of Sony a7 II, I do not miss the stabilizer is therefore better not put (in my case), less weight, I do not find even unbalanced because too heavy, I would say that it is perfect The ring is perhaps a bit 'too braking, however, by great sense of precision

Pros: build quality, internal fire, 9 blades, crystal clear already at TA

Cons: perhaps a little expensive, lack tripod collar

Opinion: Fantastic goal. I highly recommend it. I took with fuji attack. Has an excellent creamy blurred and it is very very very clear already at 2.8. Obviously it is manual focus and is not stabilized but these are not a big problem for the macro. Build quality is exceptional, all metal. is a little heavy, especially if mounted on a mirrorless, then I would have appreciated the collar for standard tripod, I remedied by buying a Chinese. Price is not very low, but if we compare it to the canon L is almost half. Recommended absolutely.
