Pros: Images with saturated and pleasant colors. More compact than a reflex (it has the same sensor as the K 5). Impeccable mechanical construction. Reliable and practical, like all Pentax. CAN MOUNT ALL PENTAX LENSES WITHOUT ADAPTER because the throw is the same as that of SLRs

Cons: No optical or electronic viewfinder. It also weighs half a kilo and resembles a brick.

Happy owner of a K 5 with the same sensor but with a different processor, I found images with more saturated colors, very pleasant especially for landscapes and nature photography in general. The main problem, i.e. the absence of an optical or electronic viewfinder is shooting in bright sunlight where you see almost nothing in the LCD or only your face reflected. I don't think the weight is a big problem because it weighs less than the K5 which has the same sensor. I solved the screen problem brilliantly by mounting a Loupe on the LCD screen. It magnifies the image by 3 times and from this point of view it is better than a reflex viewfinder. On the other hand, the overall dimensions increase. With the lens mounted a friend of mine who looks like a Hasselblad !!
