Pros: image quality, shadow recovery, obligatory slowness in use, price since today you can find it for not much (we are still talking about a medium digital format, though)

Cons: Big and heavy (but you already know this before you buy it), the autofocus struggles in low light

Opinion: Great machine, awesome rows. It's better to stay a little underexposed instead of looking for the ettr at all costs, since on the highlights the image breaks through very quickly, while from the shadows you can recover a lot without any problem. Very good noise management. I'm arguing a bit with the light meter because I don't really understand how it works, but in the worst case you just have to correct and go back to shooting.

Pros: Image quality, ergonomics, excellent and economical legacy lenses, fast focusing with FA lenses, general AF accuracy, best buy to date (2023). Especially if you already own a Pentax 645 kit, but given the costs it can be convenient in any case.

Cons: Heavy, but not too much. System apparently abandoned by Pentax with some modern optics that remain very expensive. Official tethering software no longer for sale on the new and sometimes capricious, I have yet to understand its real reliability.

Opinion: Great machine, the files resemble 6x7 slide drum scans. Relatively quick in use, very comfortable, excellent focus, lenses that if you know them you love them. At the cost of a medium-high range full-frame body you make a medium format CMOS kit, I do not know if I explain. The natural alternative is GFX with its many advantages, perhaps some defects, but much higher costs, especially at the level of lenses (and if you go on top-of-the-range bodies). One of the great things about Pentax is that with a unique kit you work in digital and on film. The adapted 6x7 lenses maintain the confirmation of focus, rational and functional camera. Tropicalization and exceptional ISO are well known, the absence of a joystick I find it a lesser evil because you are naturally encouraged to focus & recompose, the focus points are piled up in the center. I will update the review later.

Pros: Very simple to use, easy to use menu, noticeable jpeg in the room.

Cons: Free hand weight if used for many hours but you get used to it, I shoot louder than FF SLR cameras.

Opinion: At the moment I'm using it with the kit lens or the 55 f 2.8 and I find it really easy to use. Do not immediately use the optical viewfinder without its rubber extension that is inside the box. The photos it makes are remarkable and having even the Canon 5ds this one has a more gear. What if you say against the fact remains that a larger sensor brings its good benefits and here you see all. I am very pleased with the purchase and am curious to try the other lenses. I preferred this to Fuji mirrorless because I find it good with the mirror and it cost exactly the same as the GFX-50R

Pros: Outstanding resolution, returns picture quality, thanks to the CMOS image sensor 43.8 x 32.8 mm. Great tilting LCD monitor that somehow can simulate the old medium format with the glorious viewfinder ...! Good AF with 27 points including 25 cross and excellent sensitivity of up to ISO 204800. Typically medium format cameras have never shone for their extension ISO, but thanks to the new sensor Sony Pentax 645Z can ensure for the first time this feature. Also are among the features connectivity Wi-Fi and Full HD video mode of up to 4K.

Cons: Perhaps only the weight for those not used to this type of camera body.

Opinion: The more interesting feature of this Pentax 645Z is undoubtedly the price: the camera appears to now the average digital format more "economic" in the market. "Economic" in quotes because it is always to spend $ 8,499, a figure certainly very high when compared to most of the DSLR and mirrorless full frame in circulation, but significantly lower than the cost required to buy a medium format digital back Hasselblad or Phase One , whose prices are about 29 000 and $ 37 000; or the price of a Leica S, amounting to over $ 21,000. Thanks to the 645Z Pentax medium format becomes a bit 'more accessible, even if the price remains far popolare.rnChe say more .... the dream of an advanced amateur photographers ...!

Pros: high ISO management, reliability, professional quality, details

Cons: underexpose a bit '(choice of Pentax), I thought the battery last longer

Opinion: I got to try it to Pentax-Day, well say that is a whole other planet, I had never tried a medium format and the feeling was unique. Astonishing detail, management ISO very good, fast and precise focus, menus and settings management may seem a little 'complicated, but you get used subito.rnPrezzo prohibitive, but compared to Hasselblad, PhaseOne is an excellent compromise cheap .
