Pros: Sharpness, used price, weight.

Cons: Plastic, it's on the edge of embarrassment.

Opinion: Bought used for just under 200 euros. With this premise I can say "little expense so much yield". The optics are sharp enough at TA and become sharp from f3.5 or f4 forward. The size and weight are small, making it a practical way to carry in your backpack. Unfortunately the construction is plastic and does not inspire confidence, not as much as the other pentax optics. The AF is embarrassing.... a problem shared by many macro targets but particularly evident in this lens. Despite its flaws I was able to take great photos with both 36 mpx FF sensors and 24 mpx APSC sensors. Found also useful for non-macro photography. I am satisfied with the purchase.
