First of all it has an affordable price, an all-iron construction and most importantly a character also due to its construction defects that makes this lens a viable alternative to a modern 50mm 1.8. To tell the truth then I did not take many photos with this lens, but I had a lot of fun with manual focus and blur. Mounted with adapter on my Sony a7II I had no problem. I definitely recommend this lens to those who want to experiment and have fun.

It suffers from chromatic aberration, vignetting and (pleasant) flare against the light. Like all vintage lenses it should be used knowing that the yield is particular, but this lens has its own character that makes me very happy. Good and compact construction.
