Pros: nobody

Cons: Not all compatible with Z6 III, depending on the number produced

Opinion: I just received the Patona EN-EL15c ("Protect"), as well as "c" is the battery supplied with the Nikon Z6 III, but it is not recognized. Their EN-L15c is indicated on the Patona website as compatible with the Z6 III, but apparently it is not enough to write it! I sent an email to Patona, they replied to provide the serial number, because it depends on the batches (but without specifying which ones are compatible and which are not). Batteries returned with refund. Point.

Pros: All

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: I've been using the Patona since 2015, and I've bought several models. The first models (in 2015), had a yield of about 20% less than the originals, but the latest models, like these reported in the description, are practically identical to the originals, in fact perhaps they yield even more. As for durability, however, I can assure you that I still have in use the ones I bought in 2015. Importantly, I'm a professional photographer, and I do about 250 shoots a year, so I use and overuse batteries a lot

Pros: Price

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: I don't understand the negative comments I read about Patona. I use them on the D700, on the D300, I used them on the old D50 and D90, and on the Coolpix P7000 and P7700. They last a long time, I can do a photo shoot of several days with a single battery, which is often still charged. I only had one problem recently, and I didn't understand why. A battery that was fully charged on my daughter's P7000 and P7100 didn't work on the P7700, where other Patonas were perfect.

Pros: Nobody

Cons: Not compatible with Z8!

Opinion: Mounted on z7 and d500 everything ok, but on z8 comes out an error message on the display of the machine. ..................................................................................................................

Pros: Excellent value for money

Cons: 20-25% shorter autonomy than the original, durability.

Opinion: I used 2 on my Nikon and I was all in all satisfied. They cost less than half of the originals but it is good to know that: - the real autonomy is absolutely not at the level of the originals, but a 20-25% lower; - the durability (i.e. resistance to refilling) is lower than the originals. If an original one after 2 years of recharges is almost like new, a Patona after 2 years is to be replaced because it has reached less than half of the actual capacity. All in all, however, I give him a 7 because you notice the limits if one uses them in a normal (and unprofessional) way they are excellent products.
