Pros: 1" sensor, high quality long-range zoom, ergonomics, more than satisfactory high ISO handling.

Cons: Fairly demanding weight (almost 1 kg), 20 mpx on a 1" sensor require expertise not to give problems with low light, there is no possibility of recharging the battery on camera through the USB port, price (new) quite high.

Opinion: I bought the FZ2000 in August (excellent used still under warranty and therefore affordable price). Since then I have stressed her frequently and I can say, except for an evaluation on the videos that I have not tested, that I have frankly achieved results beyond all my expectations. I state that I am the owner of a Nikon APS-C reflex with fixed lenses and all-rounder superzoom that gives me excellent files and that the term of comparison is, therefore, challenging. Despite this, I would say that the overall design of this Bridge is really high quality. The weight, the only relatively negative technical note for me, is only slightly lower than that of my reflex equipped with superzoom with equivalent focal range, but the practicality of use is far superior and allows you to take home photos that I would not always have been able to take with the reflex. The fast burst, a friendly dynamic range, a management of automatisms (both AI and PASM) optimized for the best rendering of the photo allow you to practically always take home a well-made photo. In the first two weeks of use and photographing in total automatism I had results far from the level of quality I would have expected. However, after careful reading of the manual, I realized that this camera, like the most modern ones, is in fact a computer aimed at taking photos and videos and that, therefore, it had to be used according to the logic of the operating system. The results were surprising. The lens (a Leica 20x superzoom equivalent to a 24-480mm in FF) is really performing with remarkable detail rendering and with color rendering in perfect Leica style (very slight tendency to soft in terms of contrast, very faithful color rendering and characteristic "plasticity" - I like it very much). The performance is excellent and uniform both at minimum and maximum focal length and also at full aperture, competitive with good quality fixed lenses. I believe that objectively more cannot be expected from a lens of this type and not to be satisfied, far from it. The camera controls are all in the right place, easy to access, intuitive and rightly responsive. After a while they are found with your eyes closed and are easily used. Photographing in low light conditions up to ISO 1600 maintains an excellent detail and you really have to make an effort of fussiness to keep the noise present and the result seems extraordinary to me for a 1" sensor with 20 mpx. You have to go further to really start finding noise and start noticing some loss of detail. I understand that this race to high ISO is trendy, but I, who come from analogue photography and who cried out for a miracle when the first 400 ISO color film was put on the market, I am amazed to be able to photograph in "almost" dark conditions at 1600 ISO with very very good results. I think you have to accept that if you need to take home an image that you could not capture if not with 102500 ISO perhaps you are not an amateur photographer (reference lens of a Bridge), but a professional who can then turn to cameras expressly designed for special needs. Conversely, the resistance to the highlights is amazing, which almost never "burns". The combination of a 1" sensor with 20 mpx, if we really want to be picky, can show some small limitations in the rendering of the dynamic range compared to larger sensors with proportional pixel size. However, we are talking about meaningless comparative judgments between different categories of cameras and nothing that cannot be solved with easy and non-invasive post-production interventions. This camera is, in its category, excellent and as far as I'm concerned it deserves a grade of 9.5 (if the maximum aperture of 2.8 had been constant it would have deserved 10 and praise).

Pros: Sensor 1", Performance Optics, Ergonomics, Dedicated Light

Cons: Battery

Opinion: I start that my choice to have a Bridge is dictated by the fact that I mainly use it to take nature photos during my mountain excursions and weight is fundamental, before I used the FZ82 and I decided to give up the 60x zoom to have a much higher quality and the indecision was between the FZ2000 and the Sony... I stayed true to the brand and didn't regret it. Challenged the first time in the store, I immediately felt it mine, wheels, levers and studs all at hand, and overall it really gives a sense of robustness (and the way I use it, I assure you it is). Waterfalls, rain, snow, sun, has seen them all, never gone into crisis (also for this reason I prefer the bridge to the reflex). The battery is not the best, but with a few euros I took a double charger and 2 additional batteries. Mainly I protect the lens with high quality UV and CPL filters (NiSi, Hayda and Hoya). 7000 shots in less than a year, they do not make me regret the REFLEX and its expensive optics, the night shots are always of quality as long as they do not overdo it with ISOs (I already at ISO1600 see difettucci, correctable but there are), macros have a level of detail and colors are very natural using manual white balance , good the automatic one although sometimes I noticed a little green and a blue a little load depending on the condition. Functions on the menu too many, some used only for experiments and personal curiosity, but they are there and for some they are not negligible. Excellent possibility to choose between mechanical and electronic shutter, just as excellent the possibility of having the silent shot. Videos and photos in 4K do not regret having the skills not being what is foundation for me, but those few I did, to me they actually look very beautiful. Autofocus does not miss a beat, sometimes it needs a little help but only in critical conditions (very dark scenes or zero contrasts, sometimes even in extreme backlights). I like the Live View, useful for night photography and not present on all the camera, even more famous. Electronic viewfinder with decidedly sharp and detailed proximity sensor, touch LCD that suffers a bit from light but I only use it for shots on the stand and at night, so it's not a drama. In short, versatile and with high-level performance in the segment, in many of my shots it has nothing to envy to many and much more famous SLRs. The only limit for those who want bokeh effect with push focals, is the diaphragm, with the reflex I noticed a big difference with the same opening and I would also say that an F16 for certain shots would have been much more welcome than the limiting F11. In any case, a bridge that has excited me and will continue to do so!!!

Pros: 1-inch sensor, 4k photo (a gem of Panasonic), built-in Nd, yield to very good ISO up to 1600 (for sensor that clearly has)

Cons: It's not tropicalized like the fz300 I had, the price from new maybe (I feel €1000 excessive, I took it used in fact). F 2.8 Only at 24mm, already 25mm we are at F 3.0 and so on.... and you arrive soon to the F 4.5.... So soon.

Opinion: Let's start from the fact that I had only Lumix in the last 15 years, (fz38, fz45, fz62, fz82, fz300 and fz1000), and that I make an amateur use, holidays, birthdays and photos in the family. I have always liked to have a bridge to have a nice zoom to use when you need it and outdoor I have always taken care of with beautiful photos, instead of evening or indoors ahi... The high ISO and the small sensor never go along.... then the fz300 amazed me x its 2 .8 constant that in the videos is fantastic because you do not see the image darken while zooming, and it creates a beautiful blur in the compromise foto.il in the fz300 is in the resolution, there are those who say it does not matter etc.... but it is not true in the sense that the details count and 10.5 mpx Shooting in 3:2 did not allow me to have that quality I wanted (ok in Photoshop I gave all the sharpness I wanted, but artificial...). Well now we come to the fz2000, well what about is another category, first because it costs twice as much as a fz300... then why finally with the 1-inch sensor shot photos decidedly better than before, first with all Lumix prior to 400 ISO you saw immediately noise , but also at 200.... Therefore the obligation was to shoot at 80-100 ISO always. Now I was amazed that up to 1600 ISO I can shoot quietly, clearly depends on the situation and I never mold over at 40x60. The 3200 still retains details and colors so I would say the max X the Web or small prints, besides I would not go, but for me it's fine. It has a myriad of professional functions that I may never use, but those who search for it are all right. Why did I take a fz2000 then? To make a leap of quality not indifferent in the photos and videos, and then I flash DMW-fl360 and the Tele 1.7 x DMW-lt55 Panasonic (here I open a parenthesis, is not among the accessories of fz1000 and 2000 the Tele , but through a ring from 67mm to 55mm of metal and by a few euros the game is made!!!! ) and then I was undecided until the last if I take a fz1000 or fz2000, but the touch screen now is a must and the improvements of the zoom etc have made me choose this x next thousand years:) By default as I read about English reviews, the image was calibrated on the soft but setting it on the custom on contrast + 1 sharpness + 3 NR-2 and Saturation + 1, now it goes much better. 4k photo is very useful, it churn out the incredible 8mpx, I would never have been able to capture with a burst of photos of the genre, not to mention the focus in the 4k photo (I use the "s. S" i.e. start and stop, and this way is like a normal 4k video (so also has and the audio but it does not play the camera (instead with burst and pre does not save the audio eh!!!, but the PC or TV is:)) and this way you can see each single frame x choose which photo to save! I think it's a great thing, in the day it churn out the 8mpx full of details. I do not know if I explained myself but if one makes a 4k video certain that the audio there is also from the camera in play, but instead in mode 4k photo only saves the audio in S. s mode, but does not reproduce it, but if you watch it from the PC or other device there is) the autofocus is very good , the Panasonic DFD allows you to easily detach the subject from the background. I repeat has 1000 professional functions, and that I can not review but for the use that I do, the sensor 1-inch + Leica has changed me for the better photos! As a last thing the raw that is processed by the cameras allows you to modify many things (brightness, contrast, tone, balance white, shadows, intelligent resolution, noise reduction, sharpness etc.) so if the JPEG came out does not meet then from the camera You can make the raw to your liking. The only flaw is just this lens + soft than that of the fz1000, I had it for little but to today remains the fz1000 x the photos The best bridge, really really sharp.

Pros: 1-inch sensor, built-in ND filter, six customizable sensitive button buttons, post focus, focus staking, very fast autofocus, Leica optics, good zoom excursion, video quality 4K rating 9.5 and photo rating 8.5 / 9, great Even the menu, does almost all the coffee no.

Cons: Battery, not tropicalized, paid V-log,

Opinion: I tried almost everything in the video and in the photos: 4k 1080P exceptional video, if slightly improved the menu I would not change it anymore. I did not find anything else.rnOnly all I'm not afraid I bought it, in fact I'm very happy and I'm going Very proud. You see my photos on https://www.flickr.com/photos/134844995@N04/ have nothing to envy to the most prestigious Nikon, Canon, Sony etc ...

Pros: 1-inch sensor, focal length, built-in ND filter, six sensitive customizable buttons, post focus, focus staking .. and more

Cons: it is not tropicalized as the sister "minor" fz300; price a bit high, but technology pays ...; battery; if you snap at 24mm equivalent, remember to remove the hood, if not a vignette.

Opinion: I own it for a few days ... that is to say, it is a high concentration of technology, both for taking pictures and for shooting videos. It has to be "studied" well, but my first impressions are great and satisfying. It is very useful to go around light or as a second car body for shooting important events.rnUna thing I noticed the battery is not a lightning strike, it is download in a hurry .. very probably why to study it, I used a lot of menus etc. But a spare battery if not two, it's best to get them, depending on the use they obviously want.rnIf it rains ... better cover it up ... I know two rubber tires are enough! with that price then .. But I'm excited about it!
