Pros: Decent sharpness. Compact. Well built. Good optical performance. Very good stabilizer.

Cons: For such size and price, none. For more brightness, there is a PanaLeica version, that costs and weights about triple.

Opinion: Was very surprised with this lens, Mk II. Expected meh, yet got decent and practical usable lens. I like rubber grips, that used to be on older Lumix lenses for more tactile feel, and plastic body keeps weight low. Build quality is good, tight, zooming is easy and Iens creep none in my experience. I like the range. I have used it in studio setup and got pleasant, tack sharp portraits with good contrast and nice colors. For nature walks, it fits nicely as well, reach is usable for casual animal shooting and low weight wont slow you down. There is some controversy about this lens, that might be coming from sample variation. If your sharpness is lacking, try getting another copy. Easily recommended when looking for light and flexible m4/3 telephoto setup.
