For a travel lens I also find the lack of tropicalization strange, but despite having taken some downpours it has never been affected. Finally, in my opinion it is slightly unbalanced on smaller bodies, such as the GX9, perhaps in this case it is better to opt for the 12-60 Lumix, which among other things also starts from 24 mm equivalent.
