Pros: Stylish, solid, easy, small, light. Very convenient for those who want ready-made jpgs.

Cons: A somewhat cumbersome menu. Noisy already above 800. The monitors are not in 4/3 format. For those like me who have the dominant left eye not very comfortable.

Opinion: Last year I switched to digital also for pleasure. I chose the PEN-F. The car is really beautiful, it immediately appears solid. Very portable, comfortable and light. He's always with me. The main advantage is that you can already set different types of presets on the machine that make very good jpgs come out. So much so that 90% of the shots remain as they come out of the car. This is not a negligible advantage for those like me who do not like to spend hours in post-production. It can be the ideal machine for those who do not disdain the 4/3 format. The thing that bothers me, however, is that the displays, both the external one and the viewfinder, are not in 4/3 format. If you shoot in this mode (and it would be the one in which the sensor was designed) you see black bars on the side with a slightly shrunken image. Tiresome. If you shoot in 3/2 everything is perfect. I won't go into the more technical aspects because I wouldn't be able to make judgments. Highly recommended. The optics are small and light. In little space and weight you can have a respectable set. It is the machine to always have with you.

Pros: Very robust, unique design

Cons: Low quality with photos above ISO 1600.

Opinion: Well built machine, I got it in 2018, I used it a lot and I felt good, it was my first experience with the Micro 4/3, used especially with third-party optics such as TT artisan. Pros: 1) very robust 2) unique and attractive design 3) with the addition of grip, you can feel the quality 4) Articulated monitor - I found it so comfortable 5) after more than 150,000 shots the dials have not lost their "resistance" Cons: 1) at 1600 iso the photos are very grainy and it's a limitation 2) the sensor is not stabilized but this was obvious - but it's not a real con. 3) In double exposure you can only take 2 photos! and the choice whether to do it on average, for lights or for shadows is not present. (this is because I work a lot with double exposures, so it's my personal note) in practice it is quite heavy although the dimensions are "semi-compact", I used it for any situation and I must say that I found it well. 4) but it's purely subjective, feeling with the machine... good but not great. Beyond the technical characteristics, I would recommend it as an "Entry level" camera (precisely because of the ISO limit). On the video side (although it can do them) I used it very little and I must say that for what I had to do (university presentations with interviews) it went luxurious. In the end I keep it as an ornament as I switched to Fuji X100VI.

Pros: Beautiful with style, charm of yesteryear.

Cons: I would say none, after all it's okay.

Opinion: After thinking about it for a while at the end I took it back, this time black, because together with the Leica M and the Nikon DF I consider it one of the most beautiful digital cameras in circulation. The size and its portability convinced me to make a layette with the Pen F and compact optics that are comfortable, including accessories, in a Peak Design handbag as small as a baby carrier. The machine, if you like, is loved without half measures, is the right complement to more performing kits, you take it everywhere, shoots with a harmonious sound, has a lot of settings and functions that I rarely use but knowing that there are make the toy even more attractive, the files are good on most occasions, it also has the Hi-Res shot, convenient when you are not in a hurry and want to implement the image quality. On the video side I can not express myself since I do not use this department of today's cameras, as I think that a good smartphone solves the problem faster at grandma's birthday party or on a trip out of town, so much for professional videos you need something else. On balance, if I took it back, I can only be happy.

Pros: Quite light, beautiful and well built, fun to use, great for street and B & W.

Cons: AF sometimes dancer.

Opinion: It's not a half-size camera, you either love it or hate it. Beautiful to use, it almost never disappoints and allows you to take home good photos on any occasion. The viewfinder is not huge, but the articulated monitor, which when closed "disappears" into the back of the machine, is quite defined and allows you not to do stunts in shooting. Only the autofocus sometimes disappoints, especially in low light, but otherwise nothing to say. With the right optics it becomes invisible in the street, but I also use it with the Panasonic 100-300 for small episodes in birdlife or sports. It is not very modern, it is not as performing as the OM-1 and limits and the merits of the m4/3 know them all, but with this machine the defects tend to be forgotten and a place in my bag with the older sister always finds it. The line, needless to deny it, is nothing short of fascinating, to mine I added the wooden shutter button, just to make it even more beautiful. I forgot, the small flash is aesthetically questionable, but when it serves its work it does it very well.

Pros: Beautiful, solid, small, excellent rings

Cons: for m43 lovers none

Opinion: Machine that I had for a short time, only a few months, then replaced by the fuji xpro3. The body is a masterpiece! Holding it in your hand gives you a feeling of robustness and security. All the rings rotate with a beautiful solid click without the slightest wobble. The construction is impeccable! The viewfinder a bit small and not very bright but you get used to it, nothing so dramatic. For the rest it is a fantastic car. I changed it because I could not get used to the m43 sensor, despite being an excellent sensor with excellent stabilization, even the dynamic range very good ... I didn't expect it. For work I use FF and very bright fixed optics. I thought of taking a small car to always carry around but then, even to match a 25mm f1.2pro did not trigger the spark. Also with the 25 f1.2pro it was no longer so compact... I then decided to switch to xpro3 with the 35mm f1.4
