I like to photograph handheld at night: well, with this lens you just can't. The AF struggles and "bounces" back and forth, it doesn't lock onto anything. The situation is different in daylight, but there other flaws emerge, starting with a performance that is barely discreet in the center while at the edges it dramatically decays even at the smallest apertures. I honestly expected something better from Olympus, especially if we consider that this is a fixture. On the other hand, the optical quality is that of a first-class zoom. I hope to change my mind in time.
