Cons: is part of the kit, not among the best optics provided by Olympus

Opinion: I use it for years with the E-410. Coupled with the 14-42 is the 'standard optical sold in kit. Clearly it is exceeded by more optical performance but more expensive. I continue to use it because in a world of lens coating, camera bodies fiction is nice to have an old car and a lens that does not betray you ever! Combined with the E-410 becomes a zoom by almost 300mm, good in many situations. I take it for walks where other foreign car I would become cumbersome and try shots, fired at random could be embarrassing. NON never betrays.
