Pros: Top camera, AF Multi CAM 2000, Grip with boost for motorized sequence, Color Matrix display meter, as on the F5, flash the TTL and much more, coming from an analog past of F1, New F1, F, F2SB, F3 and F5, I can only say, we are at the terminus, really a fairy tale.
Cons: Absence of the interchangeable pentaprism, compatibility not with all Nikkor optics and, not total, in case you want to buy an optics, you have to leave your heart and listen to the table, however well made, present in the manual.
Opinion: The F6 is an uncompromising machine, whose electronics, not intrusive, makes it a must in the analog field, unparalleled, only the shutter is a real engineering school of reference. Photographing with her is exciting, she has an ergonomics at the top, falls into her hands in a heartbeat, all the controls in the right place, you can use even with the experience, unless you want to customize it, for the custom it takes the manual, full-bodied but mandatory. The shot is sweet compared to its flagship sisters and the motor drive can also work in silent mode. The viewfinder is extraordinarily bright, with all the information possible and imaginable at your fingertips, without bothering the aim, a real pleasure to aim and shoot with her. The MB-40, the grip that accelerates it to 8 fps, for me, is oblige, offers optimal balance and replicates the commands for vertical shooting, which never hurts. You could stay hours talking about all those and other aspects of our flagship, the only advice I can give is to try it. Personally, coming from a Canon world from a lifetime, I chose L'F6 for analogue, overtaking the EOS-1 V HS and I think I made the right choice, even if this involved the purchase of a different optical park that, moreover, I enjoyed with its sisters Previous. Try it and you'll see! Paul. |
