Pros: high iso seal, shutter speed, inexhaustible battery, ergonomics, autofocus

Cons: nothing relevant

Opinion: I owned this camera for a year, then sold to buy the Z9, what to say the D5 is a great camera does everything in an excellent way has an excellent autofocus and a battery with an autonomy of about three thousand shots, held high iso very high, perhaps in wild photography especially in avifauna the 21 MP that do not allow crop pushed and the shutter noisy especially in fast burst mode (it looks like a machine gun) penalize the use.obviously mine is a personal opinion and not everyone will agree.

Pros: It is a flagship, speed throughout, fps, 21mpx, high ISO, etc...

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: I waited a while to write my opinion... taken this summer and today between weddings, baptisms, sports and various ceremonies according to my way of photographing is fantastic in everything. Currently I have a Nikon D3s that supports it, but to buy it I sold a Nikon D3x, D3 plus some lenses. Purchased by RCE USED PHOTO with 365000 shots and 2 years warranty... a praise to them because before I had bought a Nikon D4s turned out to be defective and after a couple of weeks they changed it with the D5 plus difference. If compared with the other flagships we are on another planet as operational reactivity, ISO tightness and sensitivity with little light ... this last point interested me more because it hooks the impossible even in the dark. For me it is also fine the grain at 25000 ISO, the 14fps also, but when you shoot you do not see anything and it becomes dark (not like the D3s) and perhaps it is the only defect that I find but for the rest it is from 10 and praise. In addition, the 21mpx are perfect, the files weigh little and the recovery is crazy.

Pros: Excellent sensor, high speed of the mechanical shutter, af very reliable, impressive shooting range, ergonomics, tonal range and dynamic range, shutter lag that is unparalleled (0.31 milliseconds)

Cons: Looking for the fur in the egg, noisy the shutter for those who devote themselves to "slave" wildlife subjects

Opinion: I'm from the Canon "world," of which I owned machine bodies and top targets. Nikon's latest camera, which had my "colleague and friend" in the studio, featured technologies and improvements that invited me to buy and abandon the Canon brand. Leaving aside what may be boring insights, I just emphasize how much this Dslr has made me fall in love for its exceptional colors, faithful to reality in any weather condition, also thanks to a balance of white whereas compared to other brands it turns out to be from another planet (excellent the possibility of the three neutral selections). The mind-boggling performance is endorsed by the many substance present in this jewel of Nikon's house that make it in my opinion the best Reflex on the market. From the dynamic range to the "malleability" of raw files, from the incredible af to the inexhaustible buffer and burst, from the extraordinary ergonomics to the endless customizations and not least a tonal range unique in the world of reflex. D5 remains, in my opinion, a milestone in the world of digital photography. Obviously to be associated with "pro" optics.

Pros: Ergonomics; precision, consistency and AF speed; sensor yield; noise quality at high ISOs; Perfect file size for most uses; double xqd slot; monstrous buffer; very fast burst; battery life; Perfect automatic white balance 99% of the time; Design.

Cons: No wi-fi, no bt, no focus peaking, silent live view photography that produces only resized JPEGs (and not RAW full res as on Nikon D850), banding with electronic shutter (silent live view photography).

Opinion: Simply the best camera I've ever used. Weight is not a problem, the size is not even: the ergonomics are simply perfect. Where the D850 is, with a little commitment is you. I didn't have to change backpacks and bags. The performance is wonderful. The image rendering is amazing. High ISO noise has a quality that makes photos enjoyable and workable (I speak of 52,000 ISO!). Purchased used Nital (benefits of paid LTR assistance even with expired warranty) constitutes a best buy.

Pros: pretty much everything

Cons: maybe a few more pixels and the shot less noisy but you can not have it all..

Opinion: I do birdlife (although I use it for some of my trips, the flash I keep at home is not necessary), what to say I also have the d850 , but for the action photo I leave it at home, needless to say that when the light is not there is useless especially for very short times and high ISO , the ideal conditions are quite rare in favor of the 850 but I have to say that if you manage to take a shot right the file is very detailed and you also have the opportunity to make crop pushed, however always at the expense of the quality of the photo, the d5 is the maximum that s i can claim for action photos ... (currently in the nikon house) the ISO i leave them automatic I do not worry like the 850 and previously with the 500 to stand to tinn the to pull out an optimal result ... the file is very workable the battery charge lasts a lot, great XQD cards but difficult to find... The weight ... at least with what costs something you see certainly not as the d850 that looks like a toy , recommended to those who think with their own head and do not follow the fashions or GURU on duty...
