Pros: Lightness, ease of use, battery life, good results for the category

Cons: High ISO noise, lack of remote shutter release.

Opinion: A great entry level, at that price you can't find much better. Easy to use, lightweight, with excellent grip, you don't have to tire to hold it around your neck or in your hand. It is not possible to make comparisons with higher categories of machines, but if used within the limits it is satisfying. At high ISO it grains and the shadows are a bit green. Intuitive menu. Fast autofocus and selectable auto spots, etc. The few buttons are good so as not to confuse the ideas of those who are starting out. With the selector you can easily switch between A,S,P,M, you can't ask for more. Fixed screen. In live view the battery life drops but it is normal, you can choose the parameters to be displayed including a grid. Good to get started. If necessary you can shoot in RAW+JPG, the quality of the JPG can be selected from the menu.

Pros: I just believe weight and size

Cons: It does not have a grid on the viewer such as the D3400; it does not have the possibility to use a remote shutter control, either by cable (there is no special output), nor by infrared remote control.

Opinion: I'm a beginner, so my comment starts right from my early experiences with this model. It's my first camera, but before I buy it I had tried a few days a D3400: I noticed differences, in negative. Apart from the weight and size I do not find advantages. indeed.. I read that he doesn't even have a chance to bracket. At least the grid.. since I am a beginner, I would have liked it very much Too bad

Pros: good workable files come out of it and jpegs are not bad, almost pocket-sized and ergonomic

Cons: in my opinion you have to be careful not to burn the high lights (I never turn on d-lighting and maybe in some circumstances it could be useful)

Opinion: My first camera I still use next to the d700. It does not have many control shortcuts, but in its simplicity it from the possibility of getting to the right setting in an acceptable time and effectively. In the use you realize that the limits of an entry level of this type are not in the quality of the photos that can be taken, but in the use for which it is designed, well-defined limits, but in my opinion that can sometimes be pleasantly and abundantly exceeded. It needs light ing ful ness or adequate lighting and in any case a wise use of iso (certainly with the kit lens the limits also shows them a flagship).

Pros: Weight, grip, ease of use, autofocus

Cons: No special button for ISO, high ISO performance, fixed LCD screen

Opinion: Many underestimate it as entry-level, but I have to say that it is not bad at all. It was my first purchase in the photography field last summer and I have to say that I'm still excited about it: I still use it, even after the purchase of my Sony A7s. I sold the 18-55mm for the Sigma 18-35mm 1.8, and together they churn out stunning photos in street focals (27-50mm equivalent). Coupled with 50mm 1.8G gives me some great portraits. I always use it at ISO maximum 320, no more because obviously for the price you can not expect who knows what sensor... then takes over the sony A7s which is a monster in the high ISO field. Basically, for me used at low ISO, RAW format and with the right optics, it is a very usable and nice machine to use. Recommended

Pros: Image quality; weight; encumbered; dynamic range; great grip

Cons: RAW + JPEG limited; multi-switch; lack of histogram during shooting; control ring; fixed screen; lack of braketing, Fn keys, microphone input, headphone output and stereo audio; video focus

Opinion:
