Opinion: I have been using this lens for two years now and for me it is fantastic, the autofocus has never been wrong and I have always had clear photos, I have even used it to take some photos in the astrophotographic field getting some beautiful images of galaxies and nebulae. I have rarely felt the lack of stabilization but evidently I have a fairly firm hand. The only flaw for me is the plastic connection.
