Pros: very light - super cheap - (unless you buy it on RCE where it can cost even € 110)

Cons: Lightweight! :D because all plastic! I had the impression of a slight green cast on identical photos taken with the nikon af 50 mm 1.8 D

Opinion: I bought it a bit by chance together with its F75 body at the "ridiculous" price of € 25 (both body and optics!); having nothing else I used it nothing less than on a D810 and it fully held up the comparison with the nikon af 50 mm 1.8 D (apart from the impression of dominant green mentioned above). I even compared it to the Sigma 24mm ART 1.4 and it didn't deserve it but I'm a very poor photographer so I don't think I was able to test it in the right way. In my galleries there are several photos made just for testing with this lens and with D200 and D7200 as well as with the D810, but I fear that my ignorance of photographic technique makes them not significant.

Pros: Colors, lightness, interesting and versatile focal on FF.

Cons: Not very sharp on cameras with many megapixels, plastic bayonet, VR lack, huge and bulky light screen.

Opinion: Unfortunately it lacks sharpness on cameras with very dense sensors even if the colors are good, in any case I highly recommend the lampshon to have greater contrast even if it is really uncomfortable since it is huge and bulky. I had this lens on the Nikon F75 and trying it on digital cameras over 16 mpx does not return a good yield on both Apsc and Full frame bodies. Of course we are talking about an out-of-production lens that has no market now, so if it is in our kit and for photos that are not demanding or important, it is better to keep it as a spare lens, or for use in difficult environments (sea, snow) so as not to risk more expensive equipment, but using very closed diaphragms where the yield improves slightly and on cameras no more than 16 mp , but as soon as possible I recommend to combine it with something more performing.

Pros: Sharpness between 50 and 75 mm, price.

Cons: For what I paid no one.

Opinion: Personally I was amazed at this lens bought almost for gaming at a ridiculous price. Mounted on my d7000 has turned out to be a fine lens for portraiture. It's better not to use it at TA, which is f5.6. The construction is roughly approximate (a plasticone in short) and the bokeh is gross and slightly hinted. Really a good buy a few euros.

Pros: Lightness and versatility

Cons: All plastic including the bayonet mount.

Opinion: Nikon has a kilometric catalog goals so I'm not ashamed to say I did not know this lens. There I "stumbled" into dell'usato..Era perusing the ads for sale at a ridiculous figure, a few euro. Without many references I realized immediately that it was a previous generation lens designed to the latest economic film SLR. In my case he could go well as it meant to go on my beloved d80. Here the advantage of going on a DX format sensor is that it is not exploited the notoriously deficient lens periphery for sharpness. The result is really entusiasmando..Ho I spent a pittance and I find an original lens that produces quality photos I soooooo elevata..Il all for a low weight is a respectable zoom range. Very recommended.

Pros: Excellent performance / price ratio. Good performance between 35 and 100mm. Light.

Cons: Poor sharpness from 28 to 35mm. It does not seem particularly robust.

Opinion: Tested on Sony a6000 with no transmission of the automation adapter. Used for static subjects. Lack of sharpness between 28 and 35mm. Good sharpness between 35 and 100mm. Great between 50 and 75, diaphragm also only slightly closed. Convenient to un'aps-c mirrorles for lightness, but perhaps a bit 'too "plasticky". I think the high performance / price is a good investment and worth take it back if it does Less luggage, using it from 35mm up.
