Pros: Full aperture also excellent on digital, minimum distance 0.30

Cons: difficult to find fault

Opinion: A great little lens, which at T.A. does not look out of place even on 45 mpix. There are many positive opinions about this lens considered the cheapest version of the F2.8, which for this reason has escaped the attention of most. I got this lens at a very cheap price to complete my analog kit (28, 55 micro, 58, 80-200) and the first time I used it was on an F3 loaded with Ektachrome 100. The quality of the images was immediately evident to me: engraved all over the field, with an admirable ability to reproduce the finest details and with a nice contrast. starting from this I took the whim of doing comparative tests with the nikon Z 24-120 f4 S (which is currently at the top of the most engraved lenses I own). The result, not at all unexpected, is that the 'little one', already starting from the maximum aperture, in the center plays on equal terms with the zoom, while at the edges it shows a slight drop in sharpness but absolutely negligible. Closed by one stop (f5.6), in practice it is equivalent. It is a beautiful lens, which ranks among the few wide-angle lenses of the analog era that possess a perfect rendering even on current megapixels. Moreover, it allows you to focus at 30 cm, so it lends itself very well to the close-up set. The grade: it still deserves a 10

Pros: (AIS version). 'Vigorous' color and formidable contrast.

Cons: F3.5... not having it...

Opinion: Great cleanliness image... Unfortunately I no longer have the images taken with this lens (about '76 with Nikkormat FT3 on tripod) which mainly concerned architectural details in rural environments. I remember with great satisfaction the performance in the dimly lit interiors and the absence of obvious optical defects. In 2015 I tried the AI version, which however seemed to me more 'stingy' in general transfer.

Pros: HC auto version: backlight resistance, stars already at f/5.6, sharpness in the center, sharpness from edge to edge when closed, character.

Cons: HC car version: yield at the edges, minimum maf distance of 0.6m, requires slim filter not to vignette.

Opinion: HC car version (different from the AI version): on paper a useless or almost useless lens, and instead over the years I have taken some of my best shots of it despite a set of over 20 lenses between vintage and modern. Exceptional for photos with the sun inside the image because of the absence of flare even in the most difficult conditions, the excellent contrast, and the creation of stars even at normal apertures. So in fact it is my lens for panoramas with the sun or on a tripod in the evening. For the rest I use version 2.8 AI. Excellent in the center at f3.5 as well as at f11, where it saturates the 12 mp of the d750 without problems at all distances. At the edges, on the other hand, it is absolutely bad when open, but closed at f8/11 it excels from edge to edge on a par with the best optics, with only a hair of AC that can be eliminated with 1 click. Also good for set portraits, where it has a lot of character and manages to isolate the subject more than you would expect, due to the strong difference in center/edge sharpness and strong vignetting. Unfortunately the minimum maf of 0.6m is limiting in many situations. I find it excellent in BN, as others have also said.

Pros: For what it costs, nothing to say

Cons: Nothing

Opinion: It looks like a toy but churns out some very nice photographs. Don't be fooled by the reduced opening of the daphragm, which is f/3.5. Outdoors it brings out an elegant character, both with b/n and in color. I refer to what Caneca says ....." .... The grayscale is well graded, as in the vintage photos" It costs very little, it is light and robust.

Pros: Light weight and small size. Competitive price. impeccable construction. Good sharpness and low distortion. User-focused.

Cons: The best sharpness is obtained with the central aperture and focal lengths not very long.

Opinion: How wide is delicious: distorts pohissimo, and color rendering and 'faithful and balanced. Blurred gradually and not estremo.rnLa focus and 'manual, but the ring and' soft and precise, so no regrets for automatismo.rnMi gives the impression of being more 'punchy on APSC rather than FF.rnVa however, it said that the sharpness in general is good but not amazing, and the difference is found by comparing this lens with the other or ais the likes of the 105 f2.5 or f2.8 180, or 85 f2.rnIl 28 ais f2.8, however, has an added value, worthy of note, and that they prefer it, as more selective about the focal points, and more sensitive to color spectrums. However, as either a goal with limits, I consider it a personal tool and definitely helpful. Him, ripaga.rnLa grayscale is well digradata, as in old photographs, and then the b / w photos appear pleasant and not aggressive or ridondanti.rnCosta little, I took it for 120euri (2015).
