It is made of solid metal but despite everything it does not weigh much, it has an excellent performance from 28 up to 50 / 55 closing at f8 / f10 it is also quite sharp, then beyond this focal length even closing the diaphragm at f8, it softens. To its surprise and amazement, it doesn't lose much sharpness at the edges at CT, not even at the slightest focal length. The only drawback is that it's not a "silent" focusing lens, and it's not even lightning fast (which I personally don't care about as I mainly shoot landscapes). Today you can get it for two pennies, in 2011 I took it at a 50 one of €, today for better or worse you can take it away even for less. I recommend it if you want to spend very little and have a decent optics.
