The Metabones EF to m4/3 Speed Booster BM1 is an adapter that allows to mount fullframe Canon EF lenses on Micro Four Thirds (m4/3) mirrorless cameras. It allows to control the aperture directly on the camera; it support image stabilization on most lenses but it does not support autofocus. It reduces the focal length by 0.71x and it increases the brightness by 1 stop; for example, a FF 24-70mm f/2.8 becomes a 17-50 f/2.0.
It is not compatible with Olympus E-M10, E-M1, E-M5; for these cameras there is a special version of the adapter, the Canon EF Lens to Micro Four Thirds Speed Booster S Version (MB_SPEF-m43-BM2). It has been in production from 2013 to 2016 (discontinued); the average price, when in production, was 853 €. no votes.
