Pros: Gives me very accurate AF with my Canon EF 400/5.6 L USM on my Olympus E-M1, with or without the 1.4x Extender III. Even with the Extender I have all 37 central AF points and they all work. Still no C-AF, but it might come later in a firmware update. I have v2.0 loaded at the moment and in spite of a small bug, it works very well. With the v4 firmware on the E-M1 I also have a totally silent setup, ideal for photographing birds.
Cons: Still a bit expensive, but more like €400 now.
Opinion: It has made my E-M1/Canon 400/5.6 MUCH easier and pleasurable to use. Here is a link to some test shots taken under different circumstances to test the Metabones Smart Adapter.

The AF in good light is quite quick, and VERY accurate, even with the TC, and still functions satisfactorily at light levels below what is feasible for a 400mm lens. The E-M1 image stabilization is a great help with this non-stabilized lens!
