Pros: Gives me very accurate AF with my Canon EF 400/5.6 L USM on my Olympus E-M1, with or without the 1.4x Extender III. Even with the Extender I have all 37 central AF points and they all work. Still no C-AF, but it might come later in a firmware update. I have v2.0 loaded at the moment and in spite of a small bug, it works very well. With the v4 firmware on the E-M1 I also have a totally silent setup, ideal for photographing birds.

Cons: Still a bit expensive, but more like €400 now.

Opinion: It has made my E-M1/Canon 400/5.6 MUCH easier and pleasurable to use. Here is a link to some test shots taken under different circumstances to test the Metabones Smart Adapter. https://www.flickr.com/photos/42162009@N04/albums/72157659863679710 The AF in good light is quite quick, and VERY accurate, even with the TC, and still functions satisfactorily at light levels below what is feasible for a 400mm lens. The E-M1 image stabilization is a great help with this non-stabilized lens!
