Pros: Flip opening, lightweight, comfortable.

Cons: Perhaps the quality of the main hinge. Capacity of the non-photographic part not too abundant.

Opinion: I have this backpack for 5 years now, even bought 3 times. The first time the hinge broke after 18 months and Lowepro changed it completely under warranty (I asked how to do it at Photokina). Then since the conditions were getting worse I bought another one and now I have 2. I use it a lot. For me it is the perfect backpack. If I have to make excursions only photographic I can bring 2 camera bodies with lens mounted and 2 other generous lenses, plus possibly the 70-200 (in its case) in the upper pocket. For hiking in the mountains port 1 camera body 3/4 objectives and the necessary for lunch + jacket. The shoulder straps are very comfortable, in the waist belt there are two pockets where I store handkerchiefs and snacks. The side pockets can carry 1 water bottle and tripod (or 2 water bottles) while on the front you can anchor a jacket and possibly blanket. There is the whistle and the rain cover in a convenient pocket (hidden, in which I also insert banknotes and documents). The internal dividers can be opened and become small pockets for accessories. In the front pocket you can insert different accessories, filters, a tablet. Convenient rotation system that allows you to open the backpack without placing it on the ground, the rear opening (flipside) guarantees good safety even in confused areas and with many people. For me it is the perfect backpack, maybe it would need more space for non-photographic equipment at the top, but it would become too bulky.

Pros: Quite light,good quality

Cons: Little space available for long treks

Opinion: I have this backpack for 3 years now, I practically disintegrated bringing it a bit 'everywhere, last year I broke a shoulder strap, it is completely unstitched but fortunately I managed to get it repaired, the backpack itself is good but there is little stuff inside, a camera body with 2-3 objectives, one of which is mounted, at the top there is a sandwich, a rain jacket and some other object, however, the space is very limited, the outer pocket behind them you can also put them in filters or something not very voluminous, has two side pockets where usually in one I put a water bottle and in the other I put the tripod hooked at the top, it is a good backpack but nothing transcendental, for light / medium trekking in the day is fine, if it starts to be a more serious walk of several hours where you need jackets, sweaters etc. I do not recommend it ... however it is sold at a higher price than what it offers in my opinion

Pros: Lightweight, safe, practical

Cons: Limited space

Opinion: It has everything you need for a half-day excursion. The photographic part is abundant, a little scarce the part intended for personal items. Overall, it is the right compromise for a photo outing: it forces you to choose what to bring and this avoids turning the trip into a tiring workout for the back. If the excursion also includes a packed lunch or additional space for a jacket, then you have to make compromises and surely there are more capacious solutions. Quite robust but maybe I expected something more: we'll see in a few years ...

Pros: Lightweight, rain cover, back side opening.

Cons: not much space at the top, cost

Opinion: Good backpack, finally light and that does not weigh too much on the total weight like others that look like suitcases and then empty weigh 3kg .. Good shoulder straps but not too padded, good belt with a pair of pockets for small objects, comfortable backrest that does not sweat too much in summer. The opening on the back side allows you to change lens, being very careful even in situations where you can not place the backpack on the ground, keeping the belt at the waist closed and freeing a shoulder strap. Another positive side is the presence of rain cover and emergency whistle on the laces of the chest closure. It is also quite comfortable not too big and quite adjustable on the back I am 1.82cm although it does not have the adjustments over the shoulders to distance it. It does not have much space in the "non-photographic" part, I put gloves, hat or rain folded but the space is over ... If you have to bring food and go on long hikes, opt for something else. It costs a bit but in my opinion it is a good backpack for medium-term excursions.

Pros: Lowepro quality, and that says it all. Lightweight, safe, very convenient to access the material without having to remove it but only by removing an arm and turning it in front.

Cons: Cost, space for non-photographic material very small.

Opinion: Definitely expensive, the space for photographic material is abundant, even putting the camera (5D3 / 5D4) with 70-200 f2.8 mounted (inverted hood) there are comfortably two other optics, I used it precisely with 5D, 70-200 and 24-105 / 24-70 and 16-35 f4 and a little' of various ciappini. The lumbar belt, although small, is functional and allows you to unload all the weight on the hips, leaving the shoulder straps unloaded and safeguarding shoulders and back. In situations of great confusion, such as the Venice carnival, the opening towards the back makes it a safe backpack.
