Pros: maximum quality throughout. The best that can exist on the market for landscape, portrait and architecture photos

Cons: you could say the slow autofocus, but there are many merits that you don't even notice it...

Opinion: In the past I had several medium format, both Pentax and Fuji but also the first Hasselblad X1D... but this is, really, another planet! With each shot it returns files of excellent quality, absolute perfection! Huge dynamic range and 16-bit RAW files, what else could you ask for? Then the wonder of the 1TB internal hard disk that allows you to shoot even without a memory card, nothing happens if you forget it at home! The electronic viewfinder and the 3.6-inch tilting touchscreen are also excellent, even if only tilting and not articulated in any direction. Thank God he doesn't make videos, but only luxury photos...!

Pros: File quality, 1 tera of internal memory.

Cons: AF just enough, very high cost of both the body and the lenses, basic menu.

Opinion: I state that I have never had the opportunity to try a digital back, but with the X2D we are close to perfection with regard to file quality. I tried both Leica S and Fuji GFX100S both excellent, but this Hasselblad has an extra gear. It produces wonderful files, if enlarged to 100% monitor does not lose any quality. Very smart choice to insert inside the machine an HD from a tera (which may seem a lot but it is not so much also because a RAW easily exceeds 200mb) Another thing that I really like are the formats in which you can choose to shoot, inserted with the latest firmware update, including the x-pan format in addition to the classic square format. Unfortunately, however, the merits are already over .. The AF is just enough, I knew it is not the ideal camera for taking sports photos but I honestly hoped for something better. The battery has an honest lifespan and the iso hold up quite well up to 3200 and sometimes even up to 6400. I think it's the perfect camera to make landscapes and architectural photos even better if used on a tripod, or to take portraits in the studio. For "all around" use, compromises must be made. To conclude let's say that if you take it for everyday use it will probably make you think several times about the choice to have taken it, but when you open the files on the computer you will forgive everything.

Pros: Absolute body quality, finishes, aesthetics, integrated internal HD, excellent viewfinder, infinite dynamic range, crazy resolution, top-notch file quality.

Cons: Very expensive but it is Hasselblad, AF not too performing tilting display when in extended position partially covered by the eyepiece of the viewfinder.

Opinion: I went from the X1D markII to this new X2D 100C, from the previous version to this, the improvements were many and remarkable, apart from the resolution that goes from 50 to 100MP the improvements made were in the viewfinder, really stratospheric very faithful in colors and with a resolution of 5.29Mp a joy for the eyes really! moreover, an internal 1Tb HD capable of storing over 4 thousand photos in 16bit RAW has been introduced, very convenient as it is no longer necessary to use a memory card even if the machine can still be equipped with it. The dynamic range and quality of the file are at the highest levels is an extremely workable file where you can recover everything, shadows, lights and colors in the most difficult conditions, you will rarely have to throw a shot because of a bad exposure, you will almost certainly recover it. Good behavior at high ISO despite being a very dense sensor, you can get excellent images even at 6400 ISO (over I would not go). Aesthetically it is a modern work of art I would say, made of a single piece of aluminum and built with an uncompromising quality (and we would miss it given the cost) everything is minimal and in the right place but a negative note is certainly the display that in a folded position (cockpit to understand) is a bit covered by the eyepiece of the viewfinder. What is not yet up to par in my opinion is the AF, certainly improved, now it is phase and contrast but for my taste still a bit slow. I understand that with this camera you do not go to do sports or aviofauna, it is not designed for this, but a more performing AF would certainly have been appreciated. That said, if you can afford it, do a lot of portrait or landscape or architecture this is certainly a room that will not disappoint you absolutely, recommended for those looking for photographic perfection without asking for anything else.
