Pros: Design, small size, manual zoom, 25 mm equivalent to the minimum focal length, lens bright enough, image quality (for a small sensor), beautiful black and white

Cons: Lens control error (and it clicks more), macro mode worse than older models, AF macro mode and/or canvases, fine details mushy and never really sharp (even with the Unsharp mask) as the old superccd

Opinion: Grip like new less than 100 euros, was a bargain considering the results that can be achieved. There I would have spent anyway more than 120 euros since I don't like to spend huge for cameras ranging from small sensor. I can be quite pleased with the results of this baby, it produces quite three-dimensional, even though we are far away from the sharpness that offered the super ccd with the old image processor. The lens has some barrel distortion at wide-angle focal and some details to tele focal kneading. Overall is a good compact, recommended, but ... generally the price of used isn't too far from cameras from the larger sensor and performing ... Attention: it is possible (and common) lie with a faulty model. LENS CONTROL ERROR appears in practice, and the camera does not take the same, thus becoming an elegant hood ornament unless you pay an intervention from the cost equivalent to the price of the camera itself.

Pros: 1) Outstanding design, 2) outstanding material quality, 3) exceptional build quality and assembly, 4) photo quality between the excellent and the excellent, 5) excellent compactness/portability, 6) quite rich menu, 7) very quality 2/3" sensor High, 8) excellent battery (to be handled carefully), 9) excellent value for money 10) multiple exposure and "three-dimensional" photos 11) remarkable quality video

Cons: 1) Undetailed instruction booklet, 2) lack of programmable interspersed shot , 3) unintuitive photo count mode, 4) the automatic both simple and exr tends to overexpose.

Opinion: The premise: I'm just a passionate non-professional and my opinion, including the one expressed in the pros and cons, is the story of my personal experience. Before expressing an opinion on Fujifilm XF1, I waited about a month and maybe more, and updated it after years of use . I was used to Pentax K 50, so to a very high standard, but learning to use it, the Fujifilm XF1 was able to give me considerable satisfaction. It's a great machine. Able to give excellent/excellent photos both in color and black and white. The concept of black and white here made by Fujifilm was not what I expected at the beginning but, studying and studying in detail my own photos, I had to realize that it was a beautiful black and white and that understanding its characteristics helped adjust the machine accordingly, without trying to force its limits. In an attempt to get skies of an absolute black I brought the machine to produce annoying shading (see my photo "P.zza del Papa_01"), but if I took a step back and respected the philosophy of black and white that the engineers (perhaps) wanted to realize, the photo was better, more balanced (see my photo "ship_07"). In any case, I repeat that, for me, the photos are of quality between the excellent and the excellent. The built-in lens with integrated start-up unsettles not a little, but, when you take practice, in addition to being very easy, you understand that it is the heart of the design of the machine, a particular construction of absolute sophistication. Fujifilm engineers deserve a prestigious award for this idea, to be revived in future models. The metal parts of the machine (like all other materials) are of superb quality. Another priceless value: it's a machine you carry around every day and, as soon as you have the inspiration, you take it out of your pocket and take your photograph. There are also refined functions such as multi-exposure and three-dimensional simulation shooting (which unfortunately I have never used). Just before it stopped working, I discovered the dynamic advanced photo mode and made a short black-and-white video with definition, shades, depth of field and fantastic three-dimensionality. In the years that I used this wonderful machine, I missed a nice manual of detailed and descriptive instructions (I find that the manual provided is small and summary) and the lack of the interval shot programmable. Otherwise, having had this machine was a very nice experience, hard to forget.

Pros: Absolute portability, quality sensor, image sharpness, wonderful quality of jpeg, optical 8/1 in wide (24mm), EXR shooting mode with little light works wonders at high ISO. Outwardly elegant and original.

Cons: Lack viewfinder (for me it is a counter) battery perform poorly, over 24 mm a drastic drop in the brightness of up to 100mm minimum 4.9.

Opinion: 6agrave; very advanced where together can entertain the user and make it altogether complete. If the Fuji had a bokeh greater and better management "iso - Shutter Speed" I might have solved every problem, but the small sensor makes it physically impossible to everything. The first case because it can not be just a depth of field of a camera, and the second case because a picture to the stars is almost impossible. While ISO 100 you can go to 30 seconds, 400 iso already 5 seconds, get up to 3200 ISO in less than 2 seconds. I think this choice was made not to allow the sensor to overheat. Too bad because I have a bridge with smaller sensor that is more elastic. Moreover, the lack of a viewfinder is felt. I were to vote, I would give a 8+ anyway because I was able to make shots really very beautiful, and this fuji gave me really a lot of emotions.

Pros: Sensor excellent, practical manual, very good optics, noise content. Excellent systems to facilitate night photography with little noise and freehand.

Cons: The night lights are not well understood by the system. Rich menu, however cumbersome.

Opinion: Because of its range, it is a prodigious machine. It is distinguished by good lens non-electric and easy to use, but especially for the sensor and to the great possibilities of shooting in the menu. rnSi can be used manually with ease, like a reflex. Light is a true pocket in the literal sense of the term, all in magnesium. Good battery life of 300 shots circa.rnOffre a good image quality without compromise, with favorable light is amazing. rnBuona the dynamic range and ISO. Videos nice and easy with autofocus enough efficiente.rnLa highly recommend it for strong walkers who do not want and can not carry heavy weights, but do not want to compromise on image quality. Very sober and discreet, no noise.
