Pros: Compact, lightweight, fuji colors, a thousand customization options

Cons: Not be tropicalized

Opinion: I come from Canon 80D and I wanted a compact travel stuff that churned out ready-made files without going crazy with the PP. I opted for this even if until the last moment I fought with the XT-5 but the more than 500 euros difference made me opt for it. I didn't regret it. The machine is compact and lightweight. With the new kit you can put it in a jacket and you don't feel the weight at the neck at all. The dials are all customizable even if at the beginning you have to go a little crazy with the menus but then you understand the logic and everything is easier. The film ring is nice and allows you to be very creative. The only discordant note is the grip that is not really marked but is solved with a third-party component that can be purchased almost anywhere. The battery if used sparingly for a day of photos around is more than enough, clear that if you shoot the burst at 9/15fps the duration is reduced. I bring a spare battery anyway. The autofocus does its job even if I have to try it in sports situations to be able to understand the actual limits that many boast. Too bad I am not tropicalized but I don't have to shoot under a monsoon for 8h so I don't see this lack. In my opinion machine mistreated by many because of the price and the lack of tropicalization but in the end you take home a travel machine, compact, light, 40mpx and more or less the same functions as the XT-5 for 400/500 euros less. I am very satisfied.

Pros: Incredible image quality and detail. Very compact and ultra-manageable body. Ingenious "film" change ring!

Cons: I really don't know... borders on perfection. Maybe the battery could be more performing? Maybe a better viewfinder?

Opinion: I also had the xt30 and this is a really important and worthy heir. The surprising thing is that it maintains many of the features of the xt5 in a very compact body (e.g. the stabilizer) and well made! It costs a lot but it does NOT have the characteristics of an entry level... Excellent noise, dynamic range and above all colors. With my fuji 27 mm pancake stays in a jacket pocket! Well done Fuji!

Pros: Small, light, incredible image quality, 7-stop stabilizer, construction and materials.

Cons: No weather sealing, unbalanced with lenses heavier than 400grams

Opinion: Bought used about 2 months ago at 850, I came from Fujifilm x-e4, compact and well built camera body, flagship performance. I use it with 3 fixed, Fujinon 14mm f2.8, Fujinon 23mm f1.4 LM WR, Zeiss touit 50mm f2.8 macro. All three lenses solve 40mpx and in 1.3 kg and a small bag you have a layette of excellent quality, you have to see it to believe it. Basically I have the classic triad 21-35-75mm on 35mm plus the ability to do macro. Sometimes I feel the need for tropicalization and a telephoto zoom, but the weight and size of the body do not allow it, or rather it would all be too unbalanced. For the rest everything at the top

Pros: Image quality, stabilization, compactness and weight, build quality, joystick.

Cons: Sufficient front sight (not equal to the rest), lack of tropicalization; non-customizable film ring.

Opinion: I'll be very brief: take the "heart" (processor and sensor) of an X-T5 and put it in a smaller body: you will have the X-T50. Of course, it is not tropicalized and does not have the beautiful viewfinder of its older sister: but the image quality and AF will be the same. The ergonomics are good, considering the more compact size: a perfect machine for those who go on vacation or do those genres (street) where a small and less showy body makes the difference. The controversial film ring cannot be customized: however, there is no shortage of rings and controls available. The presence, essential for me, of the joystick is very convenient (I also think that it is like this in all Fujis). Obviously its death is with fixed or small zooms (the new 16-50 and 16-55 are fine: I would avoid the largest and bulkiest telecommunications). Finally, a note on battery life: despite being the old W126, a day is done comfortably. With two you are more than sure: I imagine that the new hardware is less energy-intensive, because compared to the X-S10 the gain is still significant.

Pros: Image quality, film simulations

Cons: Ergonomics, price

Opinion: Complicated review. If I had to evaluate only the image quality it would be a 10 and praise, 40 megapixels well managed! But then we come up against some things that I don't like, some objective, others subjective. The single autofocus has no problems of course, the continuous one (for my uses) is not reliable at all. The ergonomics look nice, but it's not for me, small machine doesn't necessarily mean uncomfortable. The construction is not exactly at the highest level as it seems at first glance, some keys are a bit wobbly. Then the adjustable monitor in "photographic" style has its advantages for cockpit photography, but for vertical photography in crazy positions it is not good, here it depends a bit on your tastes and needs. In essence, a beautiful camera, which takes beautiful photos, but not without defects, taking into account the price that is asked which can certainly not be defined as cheap. For this reason, the grade is between excellent and good.
