Pros: Usual great fuji sensor, high build quality, compactness

Cons: Revised ergonomics, inadequate viewfinder, missing keys perhaps too many

Opinion: Too bad, a really wasted opportunity. Will they fix it on the xe-5 or just don't make it anymore? Good question, which for now has no answer. The camera is excellent, the construction is a cut above the xe-3 (even the price), AF and general operation are excellent, but, there are some buts. There are very few buttons, to the point that changing settings will become frustrating. At least an af\\mf selector I would have sincerely placed. There's minimalism to spare: exposure ring, shutter speed ring, a front wheel and little else. It becomes difficult to extricate yourself with the electronic \\mechanical shutter, exposure reading and other settings, it is inevitably necessary to resort to the Q button, which I have never used sincerely until this camera. The most downside, however, is probably the ergonomics that leave something to be desired. The machine has no finger holds, neither front nor rear. It gains in beauty, it is sincerely a design object, but operationally it is not. A thumb-rest is required to be able to use it with one hand. Another sore point is the viewfinder, which would have deserved a higher quality. For the rest, however, apart from a few flaws, it is certainly a machine that can give great satisfaction and that I recommend.

Pros: Compactness, camera body quality, image quality

Cons: Many useful commands have disappeared.

Opinion: First of all I want to write that it is a machine that amazed me for the build quality ... Usually it goes towards constant worsening.... Instead, I find the camera body very well done. Having had the x-e1 and the x-e3, the comparison is obvious. Like the entire Fujifilm portfolio, the focus has been on essentiality... But in this case I think exaggerating ..... Disappeared the physical selector of the fire mode, disappeared a ring, D-Pad disappeared already before.... Q key finally in position from which it is difficult to operate it by mistake... all very touch oriented... . Convenient, for heaven's sake, but you have to get used to it. Another thing that I do not understand, but it is so also on xt .... The button for reviewing images is in an awkward position... On the E3 with one hand I did everything as well as on the Pro2 ... patience.... We come to the impressions of use.... having already had other machines with sensor of the IV family, I already knew the characteristics. The e4 is an excellent machine throughout... responsiveness, image quality and ease of use... Obviously some commands are less easy than before, but so much ... The autofocus is very responsive and even in low light it behaves very well. The car has lost that minimum of grip that would not have hurt, but I understand that in a perspective of essentiality this is also tolerated. Overall I think it is excellent, with peaks of excellence in responsiveness and image quality. Like the previous one, it is pocket-sized with a 27 2.8, so it is convenient to always carry around in a jacket pocket or in a baby carrier. The battery life I would not be able to compare to the others, but still acceptable. Excellent product, certainly enjoyable with fixed small and small zoom .... With heavy optics, the absence of grip makes it less pleasant to use. For me promoted with reservations, as some waivers are difficult to digest. However, I would recommend it.

Pros: Size, file quality, aesthetics, overall speed.

Cons: Dimensions for use with flash and large optics, found overheating and presence of hotpixels, included.

Opinion: Removed the merits brought by the fourth-generation X-Trans (general reactivity especially on the autofocus module), this body divides the masses, not because it is bad in itself, but for prejudices and sacrifices deriving from a truly more compact body live than from web images, as well as making "minimalism" its workhorse, while the masses want absolute overabundance brought to extreme excess. In summary, it is a compact, but with excellent performance equal to its older sisters. If you want to make a criticism of this is precisely because of its body, one ring less from the previous generation, fewer keys from the previous generation for smaller and little exposed on the surface of the chassis, overheating and consequent hotpixel in long sessions of use, prohibitive in certain photographic contexts such as sport. Recover everything or almost everything, depending on personal tastes, via software with the classic customization of the keys and a strong incentive to take advantage of the Q menu, this aspect is not to be underestimated because it actually recovers a lot of gap from the sisters and makes it pleasant to use, you will tell me ''I do not believe it!'' and I tell you ''try it!''

Pros: Compact, excellent construction, excellent electronic viewfinder

Cons: Swivel screen

Opinion: Or sought and thought for years a lighter and more compact X-T alternative for reason riding in Mountainbike and with this X-E4 I own what I was looking for compactness. I do not feel the lack of additional keys I find everything that or need thanks to a menu a few keys but thought out in an excellent way I even find some functions on the menu better keys than on my X-T4. Construction looks great smooth and clean partly made of metal magnesium alloy. Cons: let's say I would have liked a swivel screen to close the back also as a scratch or bump screen protector. Note: Perhaps my personal opinion Fujifilm to many lenses available naturally on the X-E4 you can put different Fuji zoom and fixed lenses but I see well compact lenses on this X-E4 camera body as regards small fixed lenses I would say wide choice but for compact zooms I would see very well the 18-55 Fuji that in my opinion would be updated with a very small zoom version 18-50 f4.0 with modern AF and diaphragm ring marked and latest generation stabilizer and excellent mechanics at Fujifilm.

Pros: Compact, excellent for frequent use, adjustable LCD for me perfect, viewfinder presence

Cons: Read below

Opinion: I state that I am an amateur photographer and not a professional and I bought this camera for a not too specialized use and to have small dimensions. I noticed a really interesting shadow recovery, it has a few customizable keys but once you understand your photographic interests I think they are enough Now the sore point, frankly I do not understand how in 2021 a camera of such performance does not have the possibility to make bkt depth of field. One of my Reflex of a brand very mistreated already 6 years ago had this function and also that of shutter speeds. I find this lack unacceptable, especially since I tried to remove the lens from the camera body turn the aperture ring and no aperture opens or closes So it means that the movement of the diaphragm is controlled electronically so this function could be safely put even using lenses with the diaphragm ring I speak at least of the 27 sold in Kit (if I am wrong someone will correct me') Apart from this recommended camera A greeting
