Pros: Handy, pocket-sized, very vintage

Cons: Something made present in the opinion.

Opinion: Already expensive at the time of release in combination (optional) with the XPRO1, today, sept-2023, it is no longer feasible given the crazy prices visible on Ebay. Ed, officially it is obviously no longer available. However, while the XPRO1 in these years of occasional use I liked very much, I can not say so about the flash, having replaced it almost immediately. I also see that the flaw of the batteries is made present by almost everyone as well as the delay in ignition, not feasible at a professional level and badly accepted at an amateur level as is my case. This impression of mine has moreover and immediately, an obsolete value at the start being in any case, out of maximum time.

Pros: light, small, versatile, tropicalized and powerful (especially for its size).

Cons: Orientation and battery.

Opinion: For me this flash was a great discovery, from the day I decided to buy it never separated from me. The size makes it the best flash I've ever had (I also own a Yongnuo YN560II that I used with my old Canon and a Nissin i60a that I use with my x pro 2). I think that on street photography the Fujifilm ef-x20 has no rivals, so much so that it carries with it that vintage flavor that we usually see in models like the TLA 200 of Contax. It's certainly not the flash best suited for jobs that require the versatility of a very powerful or orientable flash, but for night shots in the street it does its duty more than well. As for the battery, the lifespan is not the most exciting, but the problem is easily solved by carrying rechargeable AAA batteries in reserve.

Pros: Compact, versatile, great at a distance

Cons: No ultrasound or wireless, drains batteries fast, charging not very fast, non-adjustable

Opinion: Very cute and well done, I use it mainly detached from the machine as a second light, controlled by other flash or by the one in the car. In this way I also use it with non-fuji machines and gives me good satisfaction. Good for the street too. It only has 2 batteries and that's perhaps why after about 60 shots it's exhaust, slow charging times. However it has its merits and taking it with a little discount can be a bargain

Pros: Compact, great design

Cons: Batteries that last very little, long charging time, during the day you do not understand if it is on or off, not orientable

Opinion: I'm not a flash expert, I bought it to use it on an X-E2 and have a more powerful flash than the built-in one. It is a well-made, compact and designable product. However in practice I did not find it a very functional product: the batteries last very little, the flash load time is long and during the day you do not see the small LED indicating whether it is on or off. I sold it and in its place I took a small Godox TT350F which is much better.
