In short, a modern lens, which does not chase the latest exotic fashions and that cares about the hard. N.B. I have had this lens for about a year and it remains my favorite choice for light travel with my EOS-R, as well as for mountain excursions, motorcycles or bicycles. The only alternative when I need even more lightness and agility, is the 50 F 1.8.
