Like the latest Canon, this model is compatible with the Camera Connect app that allows you to quickly transfer photos / videos and use some functions remotely. The battery life is excellent using only the optical viewfinder and in normal conditions you can easily cover the day of use; otherwise, enabling the live-view and fiddling with the various settings will always need a spare battery.
