Opinion: After trying this second version I immediately sold the first. There has been a significant step forward both in the field of sharpness and in that of weight and design. The absence of autofocus is not a big problem, especially in the most pushed macros, while I would have liked that yes they could get the shooting data. However I would strongly recommend this lens to those who want to have fun without spending too much .... p.s. in close shooting is useful a small LED panel to illuminate the scene for a good focus
