Pros: Cheap, small, light, 1.4, metal, has ferrules

Cons: Clutch, soft at TA, fake scale, vignetting, always soft corners, ugly flare and no lens hood (at least for me)

Opinion: I got it last week in the II version for Sony full frame (not on the list. By the way, wouldn't it be nice to be able to have users add lenses so that we have a real database? I often can't find lenses that have been on the market for years). For now I am very happy about it. It reminds me a lot of the voigtlander 35/1.4 nokton that I sold to make money and that I really liked. But I paid 75€ for this, 4 times less. All second-hand. It's all metal but in my case the graft is very hard. Putting it on and taking it off is a nightmare (and, nevertheless, it has a little rotational play) but fortunately I never do it and for me it is not a real problem. At TA it is soft and the corners are soft even at f8 (probable spherical aberration). I really like it as an effect (I also had the 35/1.4 GM and it's not a performance that interests me). In essence: it is a lens that must be liked.

Pros: Small the right weight all manual, stimulates the appetite! Excellent definition, discreet

Cons: I don't know, I'm not a purist or a last line seeker

Opinion: I use it for street photos with my Nikon Z6II set for Raw but for BN in control picture. I delude myself that I have a Leica and I enjoy it. I find it exceptional, large discreet aperture allows me shots without being too conspicuous. My Raw of course are in color and I have seen that the color rendering is also very good. I decided to use a fixed focal length for a period, to stimulate my search for the right framing, I will use it for at least a month without taking it off the camera, I am enthusiastic about it always referring to its cost. Last but not least, it will be for nostalgia, I love the diaphragms exposed on the ring, I wish all lenses had them

Pros: price, dimensions, weight

Cons: flare, lack af

Opinion: I have had it for almost a year during which I used it as a paperweight after a first use, outdoors, very disappointing. Then, in the last few weeks I tried to use it again and I must admit that I have unfairly snubbed her. At full opening it already has a good definition, in the center, which is improving by closing the diaphragm. With a studied light, perhaps indoors, it brings out an appreciable vintage personality (the personality is always appreciable). This is how he makes himself forgiven! The build quality is there, it has a beautiful aesthetic, it is very compact (on my A9 it is too small compared to the body), the maf ring is fluid but with the right friction, that of the diaphragms is in one stop snap. The copy I have, with Sony E attack, also has the inscription "11", engraved on the diaphragm ring, while the one here in the picture (as well as the copies I observed in the various reviews on youtube), between 8 and 16 has a dot. Dunno! Also this lens, like the other "chinese" in my possession (TTArtisan 50mm f/1.4 ASPH), having a narrow diameter, does not completely cover the bayonet disc leaving several millimeters uncovered, and it annoys me. Rating 7.
