Pros: Small, light, very good sharpness, f2.8, general image quality, nice to look at (SE), fast and precise AF, great for shooting in low light, it costs the right amount.

Cons: AF not very fast in low light conditions. Plasticky. Others did not arrive.

Opinion: Taken New for my Z6-2, combined with the 24-200 it is the perfect match to go out light. I use it in the evening to compensate for the poor aperture of the latter, it turned out to live up to my expectations: very light, small, beautiful to look at (the SE version), it is not that razor like the aforementioned lens but I feel I disagree with previous reviews, the sharpness even at TA is excellent, including corners, it may be that my sample is perfect; as a cons it has some hesitation in very low light conditions, to the touch it seems plasticky and I would have preferred the metal bayonet. I highly recommend it, at the price you find it's just a good deal.

Pros: Weight, size and price

Cons: All

Opinion: I follow the not particularly enthusiastic for this fixed lens and in particular I have to report, on Z6, a strong vignetting (which in the room is resolved only very partially and that all in all may not be a big problem) but above all lack of sharpness up to F5.6 and this cancels a bit the sense of having wanted an F2.8 lens. It costs little and there is no need to expect too much. Let's say that being so light combined with a Z body allows you to make the tourist very light but all in all it is better to take the 24-50 that costs roughly the same whose yield is almost identical with a wider focal range. I write this after trying both. If someone likes stars and thinks of using it at night ... So forget it, bad optics in this sense.

Pros: Small and Light

Cons: AF, Sharpness

Opinion: A so-so optics, not very sharp at full aperture, the edges are always soft, only from f 5.6 recovers, with little light it defends badly putting the AF of my z6II in difficulty. Knead the colors and the photos are poorly contrasted. I really expected more from a fixed lens like this, having to be an all-rounder light even in APS-C use. More could have been done.

Pros: all

Cons: nothing

Opinion: Purchased to make the Z6II light and travel, SE version, the lens in my opinion is very valid. At full aperture it is sharp enough, perfect already from f4, I do not find all the defects described above. Ideal for street and reportage. Lens underestimated and perhaps snubbed for the plastic construction of the attachment as well. I look at the facts and the lens for me is top!!!

Pros: Weight and dimensions to carry around

Cons: everything else especially the fact that they do not even give you hood and case with about 300 euros

Opinion: Objective (NOT SE) to the touch of a cheap plastic to be clear nothing compared to the Z 35 and 50 (1.8) which are of a very good quality. I took some pictures and they are of a low/decent quality. Paid new Nital 270.99 euros, in the box there is neither the hood nor the case (okay that the bag of the z series is also uncomfortable, you risk falling, but at least put it). We come to the positive notes for which I have not yet sold it: the weight of 160 gr and the size that the neck or back in a backpack all day do not feel. But a self-respecting optics if it is heavy inside it most likely has quality lenses. but looking at the size of the front lens that are smaller than a head of a pin.. bad, very bad. I personally do not use it as a first lens but as a third. Given the small weight, I wear it during a photo shoot with the models (I usually wear lenses like 50 1.4 and 85 1.4). The 28 is light and practical to carry around and if necessary for desperation I can use it to take some photos for example of architecture or a panorama. In portraits for me it is to be excluded.
