I bought one for 100 sesterces and comparing it with my 70-200 vr 2.8 it's a bit below of course, but I think we can define a consequential logic. Someone wrote that a diaphragm 4 is a bit soft... Well even the 50 1.4 is almost "unusable" when wide open, so do we throw it away? Maybe we can learn to shoot at 8 or 11 by raising the shutter speed, maybe even using a tripod, why not? NO, now every 100-150 euro lens of the old generation is almost always used in P or A pose, etc... Then come the "mange" who knows why... look at the photos that Francesco D'ambrosio took for example, many are made at F4/4.5 in my opinion they are excellent, of course light right experience etc ... Opinion: An old school lens made properly. Of course, it is not stabilized, it is not f2.8, it is not hypernitid... But they are not flaws. It is an optics, in my opinion, designed for portrait. At full aperture, at maximum focal length it is slightly soft, just enough to give the portrait a unique, poetic, vintage touch that I like very much. Aperture at f8 is very sharp. Precise focus. Bokeh gorgeous, uniform, pleasant, harmonious. So guys... a great lens. Vote 10.

The quality of the images is excellent, certainly better than all the plastic canvases on the same price range and that do not have the f/4 diaphragm fixed.
