Pros: Size, price

Cons: Virtually none

Opinion: STOPPER. Practically a cap that photographs. No, it is not a pinhole with an f/96 aperture. This pancake is a 40mm that can also be used on aps-c becoming a 64mm equivalent. It weighs little, clutters nothing. Today used you take it home for less than 100 euros. It makes a really compact SLR. The quality in terms of sharpness is not the best. The fact that it can be mounted on full frame makes it blur better than the 24mm brother on aps-c but less than the 50 1.8 STM brother. The shot, however, takes him home but with great discretion. The autofocus is very precise but the STM technology is not the fastest on the market. It is not stabilized. It makes the grip unusual for those who usually put their hand under the lens to stabilize everything. Coupled with the 6D makes a full frame system extremely discreet and compact but of the highest quality. Advised.

Pros: Great colors, handling, low purchase cost

Cons: I have nothing to blame him

Opinion: Here I free all my inspiration, almost loving if not for the lens itself, for what it manages to give me in terms of fun. Not to say that, since this is a fixed objective, it makes me express it in a dynamic and creative way; I'm surprised how a pancake lens can give back so much in terms of satisfaction and appreciation. Thanks to this lens I started my timid approach to photogr Street and B&W, experiencing the potential that it manages to translate in order of beauty. Just purchased, immediately after purchasing the EF 50mm f/1.8 STM, and with great enthusiasm, thanks to the short opening after yet another lockdown, I immediately worked to test it, on the first city nearby: Pavia, taking home really a piece of heart. I am very happy with this goal, and its compactness makes me smile, imagining how much effort I made with another expensive zoom lens, but that from today I leave punctually at home, and in a beautiful pose.

Pros: Weight, size, sharpness, price

Cons: AF a bit slow

Opinion: Weight, size: makes any machine a compact to carry in your pocket. A world opens up to you, my 6D is reborn. Aperture and sharpness: already usable at F/2.8, with sharpness (at that opening) better than the EF50mm F/1.8 STM and comparable to that of the EF35mm F/2.0 IS STM. Perfect for almost any genre: portraits, streets, landscapes. Having a bit slow AF (at least on the Canon EOS RP), maybe it's not perfect for videos. 130 euros used: what more to ask for?

Pros: Weight- Sharpness

Cons: Slow-blurred AF slightly hard-lens stretching for focus, but space inside there's none

Opinion: excellent lens for sharpness and contrast, very light and transportable to use for travel when you want excellent image quality. I found his only limit for portraits set to my daughter, since he started crawling he moves faster than the stm engine, so I decided to replace it with the 35is. The blurry at 2.8 is not really very pleasant, I find the one of 28 2.8 is more pleasant despite being much wider. When you focus endlessly the lens is at its minimum length, as you approach the lens comes out of the barrel and it's not very comfortable when you put the camera back in your bag, but the space of the barrel is so little that I don't think you could do otherwise.

Pros: Light, small, crisp

Cons: Very slow

Opinion: I'm going to start with his only flaw. Af is exasperatedly slow, at least on 6D. Removed this small defect, in relation to the price that is used (100€), it is one of the best Canon optics on FF. Great for street, portrait and landscape. Always sharp, even in peripheral areas, beautiful vivid colors. You put it in your pocket and mounted on the 6D, which is the lighter FF reflex Canon, make it a compact one that enters the pocket of a winter jacket. It's an obligatory purchase.
