Pros: Compact, intuitive and immediate dials, immediate jpg files, AF appropriate to the category of instrument, sensor stabilization, not complex. Wonderful optics

Cons: Sensor protection in the lens change. Lack of other brands of bayonet optics (yes! I like to say bayonet as I said before!) Fuji.

Opinion: I have been a "general" amateur photographer for 35 years, used to intuitively turning dials with one finger. The old-fashioned way. I don't need a lightning af for what I do (no sports photos or photographic hunting, otherwise I would have gone on other brands). I come from Pentax film, then Canon 6D (wonderful), Sony (for me they are not cameras: they are computers with a lens attached in front, so completely opposite to my way of photographing). Jpg ready for those who, like me, are good-mouthed and have always taken photos out of the film that you then had to keep as they were because you couldn't edit them anyway. It is a compact and lightweight machine. The other characteristics can be found written around. Ultimately: if you are not a specialist, if you know how to take photos and rely on your eye and if you don't want to drag tons of equipment with you, this little one is for you.

Pros: Jpeg colors, viewfinder, ergonomics not at the top but relatively light.

Cons: The VERY SERIOUS problem of the unreliability of single and continuous autofocus in certain shooting situations.

Opinion: I won't dwell on the pros that are now well known, especially if you shoot in jpeg you have a lot of customizations. For the cons, I refer you to my opinion about the xh2s where I reported the article that explains in detail what they are selling us at dizzying prices. The problem is common to all cameras of the fujifilm system. I admit that my xt4 is slightly more reliable than the xh2s I own (the inconstancy af is still evident) what makes me strange is that no reviewer highlights these things (having had a minimum of news about this fact in advance would never have led me to buy two fuji). Finally, I would like to add that on xtrans 5 fujifilm tried to patch it up with the September update (which was useless), while for previous generations my grandfather knows where he puts his umbrella?

Pros: Battery life, stabilized sensor, control of the 3 parameters mechanically off spot, buttons locking dials, tremendously beautiful

Cons: As far as my usage goes, none

Opinion: I chose it because compared to the previous versions it has a better grip of the grip, articulated screen, a significantly longer battery life and for the stabilized sensor that for the kind of photos I take is sometimes, not always, important. Also, now that I'm used to checking iso, aperture and shutter speeds when the camera is off and especially mechanically I wouldn't go back. Excellent viewfinder and AF that "helps" in some way those lenses that don't really have so much performance (the 18mm f/2 for example, which is the lens that I have practically always mounted). I have the grey version, which in my opinion is also very nice, which doesn't hurt. Having only fixed lenses that are not of the latest generation, its 26 mp are more than enough. Recommended.

Pros: Screen joint, lightness compared to an FF SLR, ISo and Shutter upper rings. Great videos.

Cons: battery life, price of the optics, menu not really intuitive, every time I use it seems different from the previous time, it is possessed! Heats up easily

Opinion: I took the XT4 under the advice of those who already used it, the price was good with cashback and I needed a second camera body for work. I come from Canon and the transition was not very delicate, having a fuji x100 first model I was already at a good point but the menus are completely different and the worst thing is that some settings you have to go and look for them every time in a maze of options. As already mentioned in the cons the battery has a reduced duration compared to that of the Canon 5DMII that I still use, I can keep it still for a week and I still find it alive, the fuji unfortunately if I keep it still the battery drops considerably. However, I complete a day of shots not too demanding. One of the worst cons is the fact that sometimes he does strange things: some random jpg shots in the middle of the raf.. without changing any settings, vertical videos even if not required and videos in slomo without setting them. I am uncomfortable to do still life but it all depends on the settings of the screen, I repeat that every time it seems to me set differently from the time before. For the rest I find myself quite well, light, fast, practical with the upper rings, I work and photograph in my free time. The files are beautiful, if combined with an adapter and a macro lens makes beautiful photos (eye to the millimeter fire) For videos I often use it on gymball, excellent shooting, focus quite fast, practical and comfortable even for videos. I use it with an 18-55 of the kit, not excellent but it's okay, I only find the diaphragm ring very sensitive and the price of the optics like the 18mm or the 27mm that I will soon try to buy. Overall a great camera body in my opinion, we argue a bit at the beginning but then it gives you beautiful things. The articulated screen allows me to use it with the screen closed using only the viewfinder, which I really appreciate both for use and for when it is stored.

Pros: Battery seal, ergonomics, ease of use, image quality, rear screen joint, dual slots, IBIS

Cons: EVF backlit, useless still/movie selector, impractical touch screen controls

Opinion: When I didn't use Leica (except for a sad parenthesis) I always used Fuji. In the past I had had the X-T2 for a while and it seemed good, but it was not yet in my ropes. After some time, accustomed to using autofocus, I switched to this X-T4. It's a mature camera, with a great lens system behind it. The set guarantees class-leading image quality. I appreciate, as in all Fujifilm, the rings at hand. They are intuitive and reassuring. Tracking AF works well, and the camera has great options for using flashes. The stabilizer on the sensor can come in handy. I use it in all those moments when you need to be concrete, in the studio as elsewhere. With 16-55 or 56/1.2 it's a bomb. I don't use it when I want to have fun on the street: too cluttered, in that case I have other options. Some particularly pleasant aspects: the rear screen turns as you like and above all it can be turned upside down disappearing and you can rest your nose without doing damage. It has almost perfect ergonomics. The image quality is at excellent levels as well as the operation in general. Some aspects that would have been better: the still/movie selector is useless, I would have preferred to have in its place the selection of the light reading mode as in the previous models. The viewfinder, against the light, suffers a bit in color rendering, which then the camera returns correctly in photos. The controls on the touch screen are useless, on the contrary. I turned them off right away. It is a camera to keep and use for a long time.
