Opinion: I got to use a lot of this lens during some holidays that I have undertaken, and unfortunately I have to admit I have many limitations. Sure, it's very cheap to the zoom range covering, but the sharpness of the images never fails to be of a high standard, and this limit is much more evident when using cameras more demanding with higher resolution. In addition to 18 mm, the deformation on the edges is really excessive and troublesome, not to mention that this is accompanied by a discrete aberration of colors especially on details with high contrast differences. Definitely a discreet and economic objective for those who does not boast too many claims and must be limited to make a simple family holiday, but certainly not a lens used for professional purposes or in general for the realization of high-quality photos. Not recommended for cameras with a resolution greater than 16 MP.
